As much as he would hate this opinion... I believe Hitch is now in Heaven.
This Heaven is not harps and clouds, but the memories and thoughts through which he will live on for (I hope) tens of hundreds times the years his body maintained a pulse.
@MistressArte Don't you know that "The Missionary Position" wasn't respectful? I've been told I wasn't welcome here because of that. By a great admirer of Christopher Hitchens, no less.
What I liked most about him is that he gave courage for other Atheist so they knew and know that there are many more of us. He also taught me how vile Mother Teresa is, because I didn't really know much about her.
@BlueSpirals Yes and the image she has that people bought into it's like they turned Hitler into a saint by putting him in nuns cloths. -__- I think it's one of the biggest pr bs that people are still buying.
One of the many attributes people neglect about Mr Hitchens is the fact that he was one of the greatest modern day philosophers to ever carry the torch through the continuation of history. He stood up for the right for us all to question everything.
D: How did I not hear about this for almost two months?
I am so fucking sad now....and here I just bought his new book of essays in November. Sniffles....I'll never get it signed now!

Dude, totally awesome eulogy. I would like to use it in a publication I and others produce here in New Zealand. Do you have any problems with that?

@bootymanager If there is a god, he is definitely afraid of meeting Hitchens face to face.

This made me want to cry despite having known the man so little before his death. Beautifully worded.
