@811Zelda its actually supposed to be a chinese name soifon is meant to be chinese. its part of her back story she is a chinese orphan who's original name is shaolin feng and then changes it sui feng or soifon in the american translations. her name sui feng is chinese for "crushing bee" which is sort of what her zanpakto is and yoruichi makes reference to it saying she hers a noisy buzz because there is a bee buzzing around when she first met soifon.
