Thats awsome, we usually never go this way because there's too many bridges so we prefer going towards Rutherford because there is more space in the water. This year we had a row-a-thon and we rowed till the turnpike bridge and back to Kearny.
Can you enlighten me? I rowed crew in HS and to this day unless it's race day all these shells look alike. I assumed it was Kearny as that is where I was standing, but they could have come down from anywhere upriver.
I rowed for FDR HS in Hyde Park NY. We rowed in the Hudson River. I then rowed again for the US Coast Guard academy. It's a great sport.
I have seen shells as far south as the Jackson St Bridge in Newark.

really?...did u rowed for Kearny??....I'm a varsty rower for the KHS team and we never go this way to practice...this is Nutley Crew .
