I see where one of your guys did harai goshi. I have yet to find that specific technique shown in any medieval/renaissance text. Have you found it shown there then?

@haffoc I found that harai goshi technique in a video by the name Hans Talhoffer 1459 Ringen . Skip to 2:00 to view the technique.

In Europe wrestling/grappling technique prevailed over striking up till 20th century, from what I have read from historical sources.

The wrestling stuff is really amazing. However, take care with kettlebell, picking up a kettlebell that way can hurt your back really badly.!
