If you hit papes on the spikes, then he turns into a ball, then get half way to the top of the water, jump out and glide, and he'll stay under you. Then when hes done he falls on the spikes. You may get hit if you dont jump out of the water correctly, but trust me, it works.

i think there is a difference between this and starfy's fight with papes. looks like he has a shard instead of a steel shield.

No, he had the shard last time too. That'd be why you got a shard for beating him as Starfy.

he did indeed. He carried the metal shield for the most part, but just before the first boss battle against him turned the shard into a shield. After beating him you reclaimed the shard and he went back to his metal shield, seen again in the compilation fight.

I never had any complaints about the audio until now. The audio was fine before, but the desynch is weird.
