Thanks so much for feedback. I am sorry that piping bag didn't work for you. Good to know that you liked the taste, other thing you could have done that making it in kadboli shape. Thanks...

  • Hi Madhura,

This is my first Diwali with hubby here in Canada so I was pretty excited. In all my excitement I made around 2 kgs of Chaklis using Bedekar instant Chakli mix, 2 kgs of rava ladus and 2 kg of besan ladus using my ma in laws recipe. I sent faral most of my friends but one friend couldnt visit us due to some other commitments and now I am running short of Chaklis. And at the same time I came across ur Chakli video :) Now m planning to give it a try, u are a saviour indeed !!!

  • @radhabhi

Where do you live? I am getting my own in next week, you can borrow it at any time :D Other thing you can try using Icing bag that's used for cake decorations and having star nozzle attachments, it would work too. I have a recipe for Thin Poha chivda, you can find it on my website on my home page, plus I have a plan to post recipe for thick poha chivda as well. Thanks for recipe request :D

  • these shapes are so beautiful . what is the point of steaming the flour?thanks

  • @Esunshine71

Thanks so much. Good to see your comments after a long time :D You need to steam it over medium heat for exactly 15 mts. Thanks for asking. Have a great weekend !!

  • Very nice. Please ask your friend where to buy that old- fashioned wooden chakli maker - I'd love to get one!

  • @villagebelle

That one she got it from India, I am not really sure if its available in USA stores. Sorry about that...

  • @madhura94

Madhura, I know its from India - please ask her which place - and possibly store area.
