My nephew is in love with "choo-choo" (Thomas) he jus turned two and can already speak so well. Buh most of the time he's only saying "gordon" "James" "Emily" "Percy" "diesel ten" "choo choo track" "bridge" and "hat" .. We watched this video together and while I found it informative, he found it very fun.! Esp when the Thomas' were battling head-to-head. He said they were dancing.

As good as this is, you should have used an older thomas, the thomas that this faker was copying. The thoms you used was relatively new. I have seen the older thomas of Tomy (Not the large ones, the ones right before Trackmaster) and the face and black engine were identical, except for the 'stuck' effect of the copy.

You did a good review, but with the wrong real thomas. I suggest re-doing these with a older Tomy Thomas, that would compete fairly with it's copy.

in 2003 i purchased a TOMY brand track master thomas the tank and every train at that time.

the thomas looked exactly the same as the fake thomas shown in this video BUUTTT and a big but at that it had all the lisence details and said the studios name who was publishing thomas the tank at the time

@hotwheelsfan127 Actually, the "Real" Thomas used in this video is from Trackmaster, while the "Fake" Thomas is from the copy Tomy. Early on, when these were still under "Tomy", the real and faker would look the same because they use the same stickers and faces. Also, in the Japan Tomy range, the engines have the correct white footplates.

In watching one of your teaching videos you were confused as why these Thomas videos are so successful. Well, one day before class time in the preschool I own, I was looking for something for the boys to watch while waiting for class to start. When I landed on your video the boys stopped doing what they were doing and quietly watch your video over and over. In my view, all products should be evaluated in this way. Fake thomas is based on the first generation tomy thomas. I bought mine when they first came out. It had the same face, it could not free wheel and to me any ways. The motor and chassis are identical. The fake one could possibly be a refurbished Original Tomy from around 2000 or who ever made it used the old style as there mold. The face can be seen on other Real thomas products from the 90's The old wooden thomas's had that face and as I said earlier, So didn't the Original Tomy.

I hear the reason that the track system was changed from TOMY to Trackmaster is because TOMY lost the license in most English-speaking countries, and HIT Toys took over production of battry-powerd Thomas trains, and now is controlled by Fisher-Price. I don't know why
