Never heard of this and this kind of music in texas... No offence, im not american so i coudltn have known.

    very intresting!

  • @Hannisco New Thing From London Town by Sharpe and Numan

  • Always heard from my dad that this club was and still is to this day the most kickass club in Houston....hell maybe even the whole state of Texas

  • I did not hear anything that Ocean Club played, except A split Second. Don't get me wrong I love the music, but no Tim Flannigan!

  • We are having another 6400 event at Warehouse Live December 4rth with Mike Snow.

  • WE are having a 6400 Reunion at 6400 Richmond August 14th, 2010. Be There!!!

  • @jdeehous crap i cant believe i missed this

  • I figured it out. A Split Second - Rigor Mortis

  • Do you know the name of the song that starts around the 5:21 mark? I haven't heard it in years, but I definitely remember that intro. It sounds like it is only about 5 seconds worth and then switches to another song. Thanks.

  • @bigdukem69

it's Rigor Mortis by Split Second... I'm the one driving around houston still blasting all this from my collection.. best.music.evar.

  • @gryphonesse uuum lmao i am too still has a kickn bass too

  • Wasn't this the Hippo Club? It's been a long time. I believe this became Peter's Wild Life. Peter's was when I became old enough to go out. I think the radio station 93Q used to simulcast on the weekend. Too long ago to remember. I haven't lived in Houston in 20 years. Club 6400 was a great place I was told.

  • @bigdukem69 Yes, it was Fizz, then Hippo's, and later 6400. 6400 burned down in 1989 and Peter's Wildlife was built on that spot.

  • Nothing like coming out of NRG'S soaking in sweat after dancing all night, miss it!

  • Oh, if time travel was possible... I'd step back a few decades to see and feel it all over again. Great mix, DUDE!!!

  • I would record club 6400 live off of the radio. Wish I still had all those old tapes...

  • Hey jdeehous. Thanks. I know I was there that night becuse I recognize the penny loafer remark. Who are you? How are you connected to the scene at Unity?

  • Oh man! I went and heard the mix. I was there that night. I also had a double cassette recorder and I would set it up to record when I went out. The reason I know this is because of that remark about the penny loafers. Who are you?

  • @clubmidnightsun We are putting a 6400 reunion together at 6400 Richmond on August 14th. Look us up on Facebook.

  • what is the name of that first song?

  • Universal Daddy by Alphaville

  • I have some great KTRU 91.7 tapes, as well as some of the Spin Cycle from 94. Rad!

  • On the other side of this tape is about 10 minutes of the Ocean Club. Thats why I named this tape 6400/Ocean club. Maybe one day I'll post more of this tape and others that I have.

  • Just pure fun!

  • OMG this takes me back...I loved going to the Ocean Club! 80's music is the best!!!

  • PUSH!!!

    Rip Club 6400:(

  • awesome.. i remember going to this club way back in the day, wow brings back so many memories.. when 93Q would record every friday night. Wow- nice.. thanks for posting it!
