Me and my dad were playin a 6400 cd in the car one day and this song came on where it sounded like a robot spelling something and then you hear an explosion and this voice says " peanuts!" do you have any idea what the name of that song is?
6400 Richmond , Lizard lounge, XCESS, Red Square, Club Some, Club Land, EDEN, EMOS after dark, CLUB AM, NUMBERS, NRG....I do believe I was fifteen and wigging was just that, not rolling not candy flipping but AXING! Can't believe I made it back from HTown to Galveston to see the sunrise and hit a keg at Jamaica on Sundays without once ever ....ever....ever...having an accident or ticket...something to be said about that!
club 6400 was THE place to be in the 80's....i went there almost every night when i got off work.....and yes they used to broadcast live every friday night....awesome... numbers was ok...i miss this soooooo much
@rabob87 Used to broadcast on Sunday nights, then later 93Q started doing Saturdays and Sundays, when 6400 reopened at 6130 Richmond they did Fri (Sat actually) 12AM and Saturdays 10p to 2am or 4am

Do you know the name of the song that starts around the 5:21 mark? I haven't heard it in years, but I definitely remember that intro. It sounds like it is only about 5 seconds worth and then switches to another song. Thanks.
Wasn't this the Hippo Club? It's been a long time. I believe this became Peter's Wild Life. Peter's was when I became old enough to go out. I think the radio station 93Q used to simulcast on the weekend. Too long ago to remember. I haven't lived in Houston in 20 years. Club 6400 was a great place I was told.
Hey jdeehous. Thanks. I know I was there that night becuse I recognize the penny loafer remark. Who are you? How are you connected to the scene at Unity?
Oh man! I went and heard the mix. I was there that night. I also had a double cassette recorder and I would set it up to record when I went out. The reason I know this is because of that remark about the penny loafers. Who are you?
On the other side of this tape is about 10 minutes of the Ocean Club. Thats why I named this tape 6400/Ocean club. Maybe one day I'll post more of this tape and others that I have.
awesome.. i remember going to this club way back in the day, wow brings back so many memories.. when 93Q would record every friday night. Wow- nice.. thanks for posting it!

I did not hear anything that Ocean Club played, except A split Second. Don't get me wrong I love the music, but no Tim Flannigan!

@bigdukem69 Yes, it was Fizz, then Hippo's, and later 6400. 6400 burned down in 1989 and Peter's Wildlife was built on that spot.
