  • Natalie sure has a great deal of fairplay!

but I kinda prefer the original one - it's shorter & simpler ;D

  • This is great.

  • I ve seen hat mimic and the guy before all this they look awesome together!

  • I was listening to a radio interview with the original band- she stole it without giving them credit until after the fact. Bands that are not famous don't exactly have time and money to spend on long lawsuits, so taking royalties after it already took off by all the spaced out MTV watchers was easier. The band then performed it and it was better than her pop-puke version. Of course I think she looks like some sort of weird bug anyway, so anything she does I"m turned off by.

  • That was awesome, she's so cool!

  • lol that was kinda cute.

  • Stole? I doubt it. The songwriter gets his credit and his cut. If he was that concerned with the "pruity of his material" he would not have given permission. Anyways, the video was more about Dave Armand than her. Great video!

  • Not even near of stealing. Its a cover. Like, I dont no how many million, other songs. The writer gets the cut. Imbruglia gets proberly less than the writer and the producer team.

  • I hate Natalie Imbruglia. She stole that song from a band that did it 100X better than she did. She took a soul-crushing song with heart and depth and turned it into a pop-fest starring her gangly mug.

  • Natalie's version is a thousand leagues above the original.

  • Phil Thornally, who was one of the writers, gave natalie the song. she changed it and deliberately never released it properly in America so that ednaswap would get a chance. ednaswap had released their version before natalie ever knew about the song, but it never did very well. natalie's version, however, is now known as one of the all-time soundtracks for the broken heart.i think that may prove whose version is better.

  • whoa, oddn! careful what you're infering by the circulation of natalie's cover. the music buisness has never been fair to talent- it's largely infected by thievery and corruption. there's a huge amount of shit happening backstage while you're paying attention to what they've managed to push out in front of the curtain, so to speak. phil did not give away this song and was actively gigging in ednaswap looking for their well deserved recognition.

  • This Came from the "Secret policemans ball" held in london there towards the end of 2006. It was an amnesty international charity event...good video though...v.funny!!

  • what tv show was this on?

  • it was on an anual Secret policemans ball, amnasty internation

  • i love them

  • love it love it love it

i think i'm gonna start to look 4 a platform where i can show my skills mimicing other songs.

  • Brilliant. Good to "Natters" showing a sense of humour and doing an act that will appeal to the millions that have seen the first video of that mime.

  • just fantastic!

  • Yeah but it's funnier like that. Nearly wet myself the 1st time I saw this on the telly!

  • hey! he did that guitar part wrongly!

  • the guitar part is probly part of the show, an intentional mistake
