Paul my buddy so sorry I didn't get here sooner it's gotten crazy for me here all I do is message the gals now. lol I hate to miss any of your songs. This one is so cool so beautiful the music alone, then the lyrics really hit us with something to think about. You write really deep my bro. I love that. I always get too simple but you delve into things more deeply. I dig that. :)) Beautiful singing & simple guitar performance. You're one of the best there is Paul. Your voice is awesome! guitar too
@123X2C Well I must say I am speechless, and that doesn't happen often. I appreciate your comment and support Quel que soit. I'm glad I can put you in a "good mood". Merci.
Ah,,,! Back in a Bob Dylan mode are we? I know what the lyrics mean to me and would bet a dollar to a donut that it is very close to your thoughts! Very folksy - love the way you come in with the morrracas and harmonica!! Ten thumbs up from me! --mother always said I was all thumbs...lol...
@dcraigwise1 Hi Craig. Whatever this song means to you is 100% correct, for you. I'm glad you enjoyed it my buddy. Thanks for stopping by. Ten thumbs up is way cool.
Hey Paul. A great song that really gets across the disorientation we're all feeling. I woke up this morning with the exact same feeling. This really turned out well. -very, very enjoyable. All the best, Karl.
hi Paul, you good old folk singer you (this time anyway). i like this one a lot, the writing and the performance. i am probably wrong, but to my ear, your acoustic guitar sounds different on this song. more mellow perhaps. might just be the EQ settings or room sound. my favorite phrase is about the breasts that will not nurture. the chorus really holds it all together and it is memorable. i also like that your vocal is down in the lower (almost john cash) register. keeper song, chuck.
@chuxtrux You are the second person to comment on the different sound of the acoustic guitar Chuck. The only things I did different were adding a little reverb, and doubling it (which I do occasionally anyway). Thanks for noticing. I'm glad you enjoyed it Chuck. Means a lot.
Hi, Paul ! I've seen that video cause a friend of mine had put it in his favorites. So I wanted to listen to it, like it was you ! Generally, I don't like the videos where you see others things than the musician playing, so on' often watch the pctures that are showed, I just listen (and when I say "listen", I mean doing nothing else) to the song ; like I've already told you, you're a good songwritter. Well done, my friend ! Later. BYE !
It's folksy, and it's good!
I am sorry I haven't been around much.

Fellow heart torn stranger, what truth you sing...
sometimes wrapped in pretty bows, but someone or sometime undoes those and what do we see?
what do we need... something is missing...
thank you for winging so sweetly and phrasing so completely something strange it's familiar to me...
now for some comfort songs, for you shall help me escape to find that old Good Mood :)
merci, monsieur!
