  • LIKE NUMBER 500! :D

  • Absolutely love this movie, a childhood favorite of mine now and forever, and one of Spielberg's most underrated and underappreciated. Amazing score too, especially this track, which always brings tears to my eyes and gets the emotions surging.

*sigh* I miss movies and music like this being made these days :(

  • You are the Pan.

  • Even though Spielberg already admitted that he wasn't too much emotionally attached to this movie, I remember seeing it as a kid and just being overwhelmed. John Williams' Score is among the best he has ever done.

  • classic score

  • 1:29 - 1:40 sounds likes the beginning to "when your alone", which was basically how the adult pete pan felt in the scene with this music but then Boom Unity!!!

  • 2:26 OMG so emotional

  • @timmyvercetti84 I tell you, only John Williams can work this magic with people

  • "Oh there you are Peter."

  • this music is BANGARANG

  • From the beginning to 1:20 reminds me the great age of piracy, with a touch of magic and of course the classic Peter Pan matters~

The flute on 1:48 instead reminds me that I grew up too faster...

  • @NeonClock

Hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa GOOD ONE!!! I'll get the scorpions :o)

  • @NeonClock hell yeah

  • Truly inspirational, truly eternal...

  • Probably the most haunting John Williams theme I've ever heard.

  • stupenda ragazzi...........così commovente......

  • ... mmmm I'm crazy or this is the best SCORE ever by Williams?

  • This track is so epic, it makes me feel 4 years old again.

  • one of john williams masterpieces this track let listen you to eternity

  • *stretches his face out* oh there you are peter!

  • It was so easy to be a child. So careless, pure joy, and only a few reasons to be sad.

I miss those days, just as almost everyone of us from time to time...

  • When ever i hear this track it always makes me think of the past, when i was a young boy growing up always thinking that one day i would see peter pan those were the days.

  • You Can Fly...You Can Fight...And You Arrr Arrr!!!!

  • When the flute begin to play alone, isn't that the part when the little boy starts to touch peter's face?

  • John Williams is the man *.*

  • 4 8 15 16 23 42

  • John Williams is amazing.

Beautiful music for one of the most underrated movie ever, Hook, directed by the genius Steven Spielberg.

  • gives me goosebumps :D i love john williams & his amazing music!!! flippin genious

  • Me encanta esta canción. Me trae muchos recuerdos de mi infancia

VIVA PETER PAN Y CASTILLA NACIÓN

  • I had this song playing as background music whilst guests were being seated at my wedding

  • @thebryman HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH

  • The hairs on my arms always stand up whem I hear this track..... Awsome

  • Ack--I'm crying! John Williams is awesome!

This movie was made like four years before I was born, but I LOVE it! Screw the critics, they don't even matter. They just have a stupid fancy title, it's what us fans think that counts!

  • This brings me to tears..I saw this in the cinema in 1991, and just like then this still amazes me...one of the finest and emotional pieces of music ever written..

    There you are Peter...

  • This song has been stuck in my head for days and for the life of me I could not remember where it came from...then a little scene of the boys touching Peter's face and saying "There you are Peter" resurfaced into my memory and I finally found it. That little scene will always remind me of this song and vice versa.

  • Don't worry Rufio, you can always be Fire Lord instead.

  • Cette musique est magnifique surtout à 1min22 ! =D

  • @XPhoenixiaX

    vraiment belle

  • This movie met so much to my family. Love it.

  • anyone else see the Nostalgia Critic's review of this movie? I'm glad he loves the movie :D

  • Now Hook was flawed, but in their review, Siskel & Ebert thought the music wasn't good.

Uh what? I thought the music was pretty awesome, especially in scenes like this.

  • This is one of my favorite parts, musically AND film-wise. What a magical beginning! that flowing, rising, the voices...beautiful!

  • This was suck a good movie...It was the best Peter Pan movie I think every made XD!!! Such a good song they used ^^

  • GREAT FLICK! and for some reaon I never realized John Williams had scored it till recently. So that means that all the films he's scored are some of my favorite films. Master of music and soundtracks.

  • @demboys18

Well if it's a Spielberg film, Williams scored it, practically no exceptions.

  • 1:48 onwards - that music is so evocative of such a simple moment in the film that is just so touching. It takes u back and like peter in the film, the music and the moment makes you realise that deep down there is a spirited child at heart in all of us - we've all just forgotten. But it's there and it's beautiful moments like in this film 'Oh, there you are Peter!' that make you remember that growing up doesn't mean you have to forget.

  • I love this movie!! the best peter pan 4 ever!!! =)

  • this movie is so unappreciated... its soooooo good

  • to me, one of the best sound tracks to a movie ever....has so much feeling.

  • one of the most amazing pieces of music, specially the part with the flute and the harp!

  • @raci101 what an awsome comment.. I grew up in the 90s most unforgetable decade IMO...

  • Crazy how Spielberg said that he was not happy with this movie.....Damn, why ?

  • Comment removed

  • @freakinyaya818 Because he listened to the damn critics. This movie was a fan favorite

  • If you like this, check out Race to Resting Rock from The Village Soundtrack.

  • peter pan new version is a piece of shit compares to hook movie! hook is one of a best movie of all times!

  • Man loved that music background in the whole movie when rufio kneeled on Peter Pan and all of them crowed including another scene of the little boy circiling around peter to see some true identifications if he is peter pan that he remembered from.

  • @Theaterg15 omg..u hit that memory right on the head,,thats one of my fav parts of the movie also..the music just went along with the movie so damn well. watched this movie dont know how many times as a kid to hear the music...GREATNESS

  • my chilhood! :O

    Just got shivers

  • is it possible that you could send me the songs?

  • good song to paint to this

  • Normally I dont care that much for Williams work, but this soundtrack really stands out for me. I'm not afraid to admit that I love it.

  • Oh there you are Peter!

  • James Newton Howards "Unbreakable" movie sound track is incredable if you like classical.

  • OH there you are :(

  • But you promised you'd never grow old. . .

  • I want this piece of music for my wedding

  • @lsmithmacklin Sounds like a rather dramatic wedding...

  • @Jazukai

I just love the music, i fell in love with it the very first time i watched hook x

  • 1:32 til the end

    Thats Sow Beautiful <3

  • magic inded. I'm crying my eyes out here : )

  • this is why, imo, John Williams rules the composing world.

James Newton Howard, Hans Zimmer and the likes are amazing, but JW is the best

  • You are the Pan Man!......you can fly!.....you can fight....and you can....UHHHHHHUHHHHHOOOHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

  • this song brings out the kid within ourselves...

  • John Williams will always be the best soundtrack composer ever. Sure nowadays we've got other great composers like Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, James Horner, and Alan Silvestri etc. But in my opinion John Williams is the best.

  • I love James Horners Boy in the Striped Pajamas and Beautiful Mind soundtracks and Silvestris Cast Away, but no one NO ONE will be as great as John Williams. =]

  • @AmazingLadyy13 I think there's plenty of modern composers better than John Williams. Back in the day, not so much.

Williams is good at themes, but not so much scoring whole movies, i think

  • @Jazukai Hmmm i do agree with that, John Williams tends to get a song a two stuck in your head, whilst other composers may have a better grasp of awwing you the entire lenth of the film. But i must say, its those catchy themes that you find yourself humming at the bus stop that get my attention.

  • 21 years old, watched this again yesterday, never fails to bring a tear to my eye!

  • yeah me too!

  • Magic

  • magical.....one of my all time favorite movies..........

  • john williams and jeremy soule share alot in common, cept soule does music for epic videogames and williams does music for epic movies

  • i always be a i child at least on the inside.

  • Wow i look back on my youth and wished i stayed young forever

  • 1:48 chills everywhere.

My dad would rent this for me all the time when I was really little. I've grown up too fast. I'm in college now and this song makes me wanna cry D:

  • "You promised you'd never grow old. . ."

    21 years old. . . man, I miss those days. . .

  • Yep yep. It still gets me!! :))

  • I was raised with this movie. I hope one day my son will enjoy this movie as I did.

  • The magic sound of the French Horn at 0:55!

    I love it!!

  • totally agree with ya. i love when the horn comes sweeping back in at 1:08 ^_^

  • I cannot listen to this song without shedding a tear.

  • agreed, its a reminder of better times

  • flipping awesome

  • Thank you!

  • John Williams is a musical genius. One day he would be honored and revered as Mozart and Beethoven are today.

  • "There you are peter"!!!!

    classic <3

  • beautiful flute starts at 1:45

  • I always tear up at that part. . .

  • John Williams is a musical genius.

  • Man, I'll never, ever forget this movie and the '90s in general. Seeing Rufio finally recognize Peter's greatness: "You can fly, you can fight, and YOU CAN (Crowing noise from Peter) CROW."

*** everyone crows (cause Peter Pan is back) ***

  • This score screams JW. Beautiful piece! The bit starting at 1:40 ALWAYS gave me the chills and made me a bit teray eyed when I watched the movie. John is a musical god.

  • this score screams for ice cream!!! its so great

  • I want to add this to my john williams VINYL collection...anyone know if this exists!?

Most beautiful song on the score imo.

  • Same style as lord o f he rings, "the breaking of the fellowship" my opinion... don't hate.

  • powerful french horns at 1:08.. beautiful

  • You can fly, you can fight..and you can crow! hahaha

  • the french horn gives me chills at :58

  • 1:25 onwards :O

seriously this is one of the best songs i've ever - or will ever hear, it's even better if you've seen the film...

Williams is THE best composer of all time no doubt about it

  • I think John Williams had a brain storm when He made this what a combination of vocal and ochestration he used for this brilliant brillaint SCORE

  • I didn't know John Williams did the score for Hook. But considering how great the music was in that movie, makes much sense now.

  • yeah me neither including SPEILBERG. when your very young you thought the movie was real not pretend. Then when I got older around middle school probably looked at when know who Speilberg was and when i discovered he did HOOK i was jumping up and down :)

  • Cool Film!!!

  • One of the very few films that I still cry at, and I'm 18 XD probably the most beautiful film I've ever seen.

  • God I know. I still don't understand why this movie got such bad reviews.

  • It's one of those rare instances when tastes change somehow. As many know, the same thing happened with Fight Club, the original Black Christmas, and a few other films off the tip of my tongue.

  • I'm wondering that too. I think it's just one fo those movies where it gained popularity after it came out of...VHS or something. That happens a lot.

  • I think it took kids watching it to recognize how good it was. Adults were maybe a bit too jaded.

  • @stefanheikel wait a moment... this god bad reviews?1 its the best film on the planet!!!!

  • @houndsofroses i know i love this film so much its part of my child hood

  • bangeraaaang

  • So sweet... miss my childhood and the times when ithought I could fly ...love this movie!

  • Such an epic film with epic music, when Williams and Spielberg work together, you get nothing but pure greatness =)

  • "it is you, but your grown up, you promised youd never grow old", one of the best films ever made

  • i dont sapose you can share this song?

  • :( this song makes me cry every time. it makes me remember the bad parts of my childhood. :(

  • John Williams !!!!

  • So you ca
