Absolutely love this movie, a childhood favorite of mine now and forever, and one of Spielberg's most underrated and underappreciated. Amazing score too, especially this track, which always brings tears to my eyes and gets the emotions surging.
*sigh* I miss movies and music like this being made these days :(
Even though Spielberg already admitted that he wasn't too much emotionally attached to this movie, I remember seeing it as a kid and just being overwhelmed. John Williams' Score is among the best he has ever done.
1:29 - 1:40 sounds likes the beginning to "when your alone", which was basically how the adult pete pan felt in the scene with this music but then Boom Unity!!!
Che bella quella parte in cui il ragazzino cerca di trovare un tratto della sua faccia che ricordi il Peter che conosceva!! e poi quando dice " Eccoti qui, Peter" Bellissimo film e bravissimo Robin Willliams
Respond to this video... i cant help but cry when its gets to 1:27 because i miss my childhood so much i wanna be a lost boy plus when it grts there i remember my grandfather dying holding my hand and telling me he knows ill grow up to be a responsible young man and hes proud of me i cry so hard when i listen to this music still ill always love Hook Bangerang \m/
Around 1:21, oh my goodness, how glorious is that harp sound along with the strings?! Dear Jesus, the poignancy packed in those seconds is beyond words moving! John Williams and Steven Spielberg truly are the dream team!
@jeremyallthetime I do it when I say this whole scene or hum the music. its just so powerful with the emotions of unity in this scene of the movie. oh thumbs up btw!
When ever i hear this track it always makes me think of the past, when i was a young boy growing up always thinking that one day i would see peter pan those were the days.

One of my favourite movie lines ever is when hook says " The pulling spawn, how I despise them."
However the rest of this film was a steaming pile of horse manure. Seriously which edition of the victorian story added the cheerful obese black child to the cast?
This movie was made like four years before I was born, but I LOVE it! Screw the critics, they don't even matter. They just have a stupid fancy title, it's what us fans think that counts!
This brings me to tears..I saw this in the cinema in 1991, and just like then this still amazes me...one of the finest and emotional pieces of music ever written..
This song has been stuck in my head for days and for the life of me I could not remember where it came from...then a little scene of the boys touching Peter's face and saying "There you are Peter" resurfaced into my memory and I finally found it. That little scene will always remind me of this song and vice versa.
GREAT FLICK! and for some reaon I never realized John Williams had scored it till recently. So that means that all the films he's scored are some of my favorite films. Master of music and soundtracks.
1:48 onwards - that music is so evocative of such a simple moment in the film that is just so touching. It takes u back and like peter in the film, the music and the moment makes you realise that deep down there is a spirited child at heart in all of us - we've all just forgotten. But it's there and it's beautiful moments like in this film 'Oh, there you are Peter!' that make you remember that growing up doesn't mean you have to forget.
Man loved that music background in the whole movie when rufio kneeled on Peter Pan and all of them crowed including another scene of the little boy circiling around peter to see some true identifications if he is peter pan that he remembered from.
@Theaterg15 omg..u hit that memory right on the head,,thats one of my fav parts of the movie also..the music just went along with the movie so damn well. watched this movie dont know how many times as a kid to hear the music...GREATNESS
John Williams will always be the best soundtrack composer ever. Sure nowadays we've got other great composers like Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, James Horner, and Alan Silvestri etc. But in my opinion John Williams is the best.
I love James Horners Boy in the Striped Pajamas and Beautiful Mind soundtracks and Silvestris Cast Away, but no one NO ONE will be as great as John Williams. =]
@Jazukai Hmmm i do agree with that, John Williams tends to get a song a two stuck in your head, whilst other composers may have a better grasp of awwing you the entire lenth of the film. But i must say, its those catchy themes that you find yourself humming at the bus stop that get my attention.
Man, I'll never, ever forget this movie and the '90s in general. Seeing Rufio finally recognize Peter's greatness: "You can fly, you can fight, and YOU CAN (Crowing noise from Peter) CROW."
This score screams JW. Beautiful piece! The bit starting at 1:40 ALWAYS gave me the chills and made me a bit teray eyed when I watched the movie. John is a musical god.
