@69coolchris I just played it in beijing at the concert hall, i was one of the cellists, in a few days we are getting the recording, if you want I can send it to you, btw, karl jenkins didn't direct gloria, he just directed te deum and celebration (new song he made just for dulwich beijing).

Gorgeous Hayley. Samuel Evans was wonderful in the world premiere too. If you sang, you might be interested in The Really Big Chorus Facebook Group. There was a competition to win the EMI recording on there, but it's finished now.

@limcah Yes you are quite right. Chorus+Orchestra. If the words "Very Large Chorus" appear in the official title I'll be very happy. I'm the events manager at the UC Davis Department of Music here in CA, and I can't wait for Boosey and Hawkes to release the performance rights and scores to this piece. It would sound so great in our hall. Do a search on "UC Davis Carmina Burana" and you'll see us in action.

@thedaleyphil Looked at your video - it sounds a great choir! There were just over 2500 singers at the "Gloria" World Premiere called The Really Big Chorus! Karl Jenkins was there but didn't conduct. We are singing Carmina Burana next year - I love it! Music scores are available now for the Gloria.

I just sang in the World Premiere of Jenkins Gloria, but they had a male soloist! The live CD recording from the Royal Albert Hall in London is now available. It was a fantastic night!
