  • definetely ARCHITECTURAL photography ! or am I wrong? and lot of portraits too.

  • The bit where he climbed on top of the roof at about 2:30 the sun looked stunning, he is high up. Traffic tumbling around below, a busy bustle... and he took a photo of...... a tower block. Come ON!

  • Why all the haters? :D

  • Landscape? Cityscape, urban photography perhaps but i wouldn't describe it as "Landscape", which, is a very broad term. The video is very basic considering the equipment you are using. It is more suited to happy snappers.

  • Amazing:)

  • greetings from Bratislava..like this video..just think there is much more potiential than this video is showing ..maybe come back later and try again ;)

  • I bet they could never find their files on that MAC and were just acting!

  • excellent video series.... really loved it.

  • does it bother anyone that the girl student cant even hold the camera right??

  • Anybody else tired of "cityscape photography" being labeled as "landscape photography"?

There's a BIG difference in my opinion.

  • @CaublePhotography me too, i'd rather call them"urban style snapshots"(or simply categorize them into street photography). To me the landscape photography means serious photographer+sophisticated composition+ large format film, most of all, merging your own expression into the scene.---but not grab a digital camera with zoom lens and go shoot. Well, this clip is just an alternative of Canon ADs, so we can not expect more... :) BTW, never handheld to shoot sunset :D

  • @CaublePhotography Yes, they are different subjects for sure. This is architecture photography. Bad architecture photography at that. The photos are average at best. Just proves you can have the best gear but not get the best photos.

  • I loved the video, and realised something that really annoys me. Everytime Im about to take a really good photography in wich the presence of a person in a certain moment on th composition will make it a very good photo, theres always the moment where the person realises Im there, and them stop because they thing they will ruin the photo...thus ruining my basic composition in the process lol

  • I love these so called photo pro's,so full of shit. They couldnt shoot a kids birthday party !

  • are they beginners?

with that equipment, i think we should expect more.

  • the cinematography of the video was way more interesting then the actual photos taken by the students which were actually quite boring

  • perfect thanks guys

  • Crappy comercial clip.

  • What cameras did they use for the video?

I know they used lights and reflectors on many scenes for the video, but the contrast is like HDR.

Amazing! Is it a post-production filter or what?

How does one get that kind of video result?

  • @ziryab92

I have no idea why you thought you should answer my post?!?!

"High-quality post" means nothing to anyone.

I was asking for someone who actually has some knowledge to answer what kind of post production can produce such wide tonal range.

And I certainly didn't think they'd be shooting this kind of video with Sony camcorders or D300.

And please don't assume you know my budget nor skills.

  • Lovely! thanks! for posting
