  • @789spb The violinist is M.A. Krishnasamy, and the mridangist is Neyveli Skandasubramaniam. I don't know the name of the kanjira player, but he is really good too, listen their main piece of this concert....

    Sa-ga-pa-Ni-Sa is the structure of the Aaroha.

  • I guess,, it is lil different from Varna malika book. In the Mukthayi Swara, there is a gap after N, but they do sing this.

    Giving a break is lil hard to adjust with the Taala as the first R has to go to previous taala, which apparently is as per book.
