Yes, there is an option to use a second monitor to be able to look behind; for this you would need a small patch from the publisher.

Yes, if your steering wheel has the stick, you will be able to change your gears P R N D L.

During the steering wheel configuration the program will ask you to assign the steering wheel's buttons to turn lights On/Off and low/high beam; by the default, you can do it using the keys on your keyboard.

You do not have to go with the most expensive G25 or G27. The steering wheel for $30 should be enough to learn and practice driving for one individual.

The Pro edition for one monitor is only for one screen, the Pro for 3 monitors works not only wth 3 screens, but also with 1 screen; the user selects it in the Setting.

Yes, the PRO edition for 3 monitors would work on 1 or 3 monitors/TVs/wall projectors. It is a user choice.

However, the PRO for 1 monitor would work only on 1 display.

Of course there isint a substitute for the experience you gain form driving a car. But why spend the first 10 hours on the road if you can easily learn it at home. Drivers are the most dangerous the first couple of hours they are learning. Why not limit that and learn all the essentials through this Simulator. I got this, a few months a go and it helped me with wonders. I learnt pretty fast and it may not be a car but its the next best thing to learning how to drive.

@GloriousSilvester meh, my dad took me to a neighborhood with little traffic the day I got my permit. Than he made me drive home lol. It took me a few minutes to get used to it, then it was alright. Then I drove in rush hour traffic that day. and I'm still alive! :)

The SimuRide is the best. The simulator you offer in your school is not realistic as the Simuride; I tried it once last month and I was very disapointed. The Simuride by Aplusbsoftware has many features that your simulator doesn't offer. Moreover, Simuride HE is for home users and I can practice it as much as I want, for only $75. This is a DEAL :)

These simulators are a great idea --- the part I like is simulation of driving while towing something --- that's something teens just don't do right the first time around and requires more practice for them.

Up to now schools had the explanation that the simulator cost is much higher than a new vehicle, but now it is not the case.

And this is a true reason why some driving schools owners are against the driving simulators.

If driving simulator would be mandatory in Driving Schools, we wouldnt have so many accidents. In the past years many miserable things had happened to the children  student drivers and parents had to suffer as well. Such simple thing as a simulator could reduce tragedies drastically. Why driving schools do not offer it for students?
