  • Ya, def. slower. And you should probably use a lot more vibrato in it to give it more passion....and so its not so dead.

  • For all those wondering, this doesn't have much rubato or vibrato at all because this is a more baroque interpretation of this prelude (as opposed to romantic). Speed is also variable. Really, the only thing specified were the notes and some of the articulation.

  • It was in tune. You should practice vibrato. Also, you don't have much passion in your notes...

  • @rosatrospo thank you for telling everyone how ugly you are.

  • isnt this too fast? though I like it faster, well played :)

  • gli archi:contrabasso violoncelle sono + indicati per il giovane ludwig beethoven nella sua cele romanza

  • Very nice! I don't like romantic vibration when cello players do that with J.S. Bach. I like Your interpretation. I have my own vision on bass :)

  • Good, yet not enough vibrato on the lower notes

  • Errr....That was good..and in tune. ^^

but...personally, i would have rather it gone a little slower..

  • your good but you talk way too much at the beginning!

  • That is a Stalhammer! I just know it!

  • Very Nice interpretation- Its quite diffrent from yo yo mas

  • nice! one question -- i am wondering your reasoning for not sustaining the long quarter notes and decaying them quickly instead.

  • Lovely.

  • You remind me of my dad he plays the cello so do I and he moves his head like that and closes his eyes when he plays

  • very nice! :) thats my grade 8 piece for Viola. thanks for posting it :)

    Dave

  • Liking it, but I think perhaps it could be a little slower, and maybe with a little rubato too =] good job

  • Very nice. I enjoy watching your cello videos. They are very useful for the student player and all students of cello should see them. My son recently learned to play this piece. It is posted on my youtube site. It is interesting to compare the two. He plays it a bit slower and has some cleanup to do.

  • beautifully played.

  • Good as usual. The intro sort of caught me off gaurd on this piece, though. It was a lot faster than I am used to hearing it. I suppose its a style issue, though.

  • Bravo!

    Loved it!

  • Very tasteful and sensitive as always! 5*

  • Good Job Luke!

  • always great!
