  • Yeah millenium is not 352ft high i wuz wondering if any1 else caught that LML

  • um wow nice one travel channel, the eiffel tower is like 700 ft taller than power tower, millennium is not 352ft high, the park opens at 9am for resort guests, and they made it look like magnum was millennium.

  • this was a decent video, but the numerous errors and obvious misleading ending combining the magnum and millennium kinda ruined it for me

  • its an hour and 15 min from cleveland they so have it rong! geezzzz get a new hobbie and stop makin lies about cedar point

  • they showed magnum when they were talkin bout millenium wow how stupid......

  • cedar point first coaster was 1892, not 1882

  • what hotels other than the cedar point hotels are there near cedar point?

  • Thanks for posting, haven't seen this. :D

  • It opens at 10AN

  • what the fuck i should kill the travel channel they half way killed cedar point

  • this video is outdated and incorrect

  • this is a fake video

  • where is the rest

  • wow... the errors in this are too many to count... 20 minutes from cleveland? Try 1 hour+... 352 feet? Try 310.... Opens at 6AM??? Try 10AM.... Breakers a 4 star hotel??? Maybe 3, but more likely 2... The footage of Millennium Force and Magnum spliced together to look like one ride... priceless..

  • im pretty sure mill doesnt give u 5g either

  • 352 feet, WHAT THE HELL!!!!

  • i'd run to the magnum

  • haha since when did mf grow and be 352ft lol

  • Yeah, I was stunned by the statistical errors, too! However, I'll give them some slack about Power Tower. The whole tower IS 300 ft. tall; you just get shot up or down 240 ft. I think the most shameful error was getting Millennium's stats wrong, especially since this video was obviously from 2000 or 2001 (note how Schwabinchen was still around), and thus, the stats for Millennium should have been easily accessed.

  • So are you the guy at the end of the vid? Ryan...

  • Yeah, I don't know where they got those statistics from, but some of them are, for sure, wrong

  • Well, that didnt bother me really, just found it odd, I have a few questions? How did you get on the episode, and do you know where they got their info from(stat wise)

but yes, I do enjoy the video very much and thank you for posting it, its in my favorites!

  • my parents have been taking me to Cedar Point since I was young and we went every year and stayed in that room in the hotel...we used to at least and they called us and asked us to be in it since we were such great park customers etc... they prob get their stats from the internet to be honest... who knows!

  • Oh, I know this, but they have so many basic stats about the coasters and even rides are wrong.

For instance Power Tower is 240 feet tall

Switchback Railway was built in 1892

The park doesnt, and never has opened to crowds at 6am.

Also, at the end after it shows them running most of the the footage which they call Millennium Force is actually Magnum XL 200(notice Millennium Force is blue Magnum is red)

Millennium Force is not 352 feet high, it is 310

    Thats just basic stuff.

  • Robbie, it's me and my family in the video and the reason we are on the magnum instead of millenium is because most people won't know the difference and we couldn't get the Millennium force shut down for us to go on it for the video crew cause it was way too busy... and we had been filming all day at the breakers and the rest of the family was getting ancy to actually go ride the rides so the crew was just like, we will just film this and go on... it worked out ok...

  • "most people won't know the difference"? Are you kidding me? Most real coaster enthusiasts know the difference.

Millennium: Classified as a gigacoaster. 310 feet tall, 300 foot 80 degree drop, sustained speed of 93 mph, designed by Intamin AG.

Magnum: Classified as a hypercoaster. 205 feet tall, 195 foot 60 degree drop, top speed 72 mph, designed by Arrow Dynamics.

Obviously no research whatsoever was done here.

  • Oh and Power Tower isn't "the tallest free fall tower in the world".. Drop Tower at Kings Island is 315 feet tall and there are towers taller than that, whoever got their information for this video obviously made it as a joke..

  • if u didnt know the video was made in 2000

  • @Robbie295 The actual drop is only 240 feet tall but the whole tower is a total of about 300 feet. Thats probably where they got that from. Other than that, its pretty sad how many things they get wrong. If they were gonna put this on TV, you'd think they'd get their facts right. Especially considering its a channel that specializes in this stuff.

  • I think its an old episode u can tell by the clothing, which is why they are off statistically. 17 coasters now. Best park ever.

  • Wow, many statistical errors in this Travel Channel "exclusive" do they not research and verify their info? Absolutely rediculous.

  • nice!
