It's been a LONG time since I commented, there's a good reason tho I joined Yoshinkan Aikido Dojo here in MI mainly do to your vids. I recently gained the rank of 4th kyu and figured I should thank you fro peeking my interest.
I am so glad you have started on the path of Aikido. My best to you in your studies. I am happy to post videos to share with others like you my friend. As O'Sensei said " Aikido is for the whole world." Peace!
Hello my friend. I am not a Yoshinkai Aikido Sensei. My system is Four Winds Aikido (based off of Ki-Aikido with combat in mind) Its my view on Aikido. My main teacher was the Late Bill Sosa Shihan. And I train under other Sensei now as well. But I have trained many times in Yoshinkan Dojo and with their teachers.

This is also the first video of yours I've seen with some of your other students (I havn't checked all of them yet). It is interesting to see how well you control you're technique with each student's level of training. It shows how much you invest in their training and that you are not there to show off your techniques, but to help and grow togther in the spirit of Aikido. Thank you for sharing!
Very nice. I appreciate your emphasis on understanding the difference between training speed and combat speed. I've seen many students fail to make that jump, look at the slow training speed and conclude that the technique is of no use. Nice job showing this difference.
Another 5 star vid Sensei, thanks for taking the time to do these they're both very informative and useful. Just so I'm clear Irimi basically mean enter as in "when uke pulls nage enters" and Tenkan means turn as in "when uke pushes nage turns am I close? Bows and thank you again.
that was excellent Sensei , a very good explanation of the technique and how it should be done for the street. 5 stars . I like the symbol at the end wa no michi (peace be with you ) very nice.
