Google has lost so much credibility and trust now that they've rejected Net Neutrality and joined up with the CIA. Schmidt is just another corporate parasite.
Schmidt's answer at 28:08 "would you prefer someone else". YES I would, was I given a choice? NO. Do i have access to google servers and see with my bare eyes that my info in 110% secured? NO. I would rather have my government have this information than a total stranger like Google deal with my personal info behind my back. My government isn't going anywhere and it might use the information in hand to make me better or worse, but I would still know
@mmfaae Do you have access to banking servers or government servers to see your info is secured? I don't. And then it all comes down to what damage the host of your information can cause. In that respect, I certainly think a government can cause a lot more damage than a private company can. And frankly, there would be nothing you could do against it.
Schmidt, you said that news organizations don't know their readers. They don't know what their users read yesterday, so they can't target the right ads for the right people. So how could these companies know about their readers? News organizations can't access private information from Google databases... Should they build their own social networks? Do people want to join more new social network services? Yeah, maybe the mobile (or other more personal device) is the answer...
Eric is just so clued up about lots of differnt things, during the Q and A, he just knows what to say, either to answer the question or to avoid answering the question. A very clever man.

3 guys are in a cafe,
one says: I've got the smallest arm of the world!
another says: I've got the smallest head of the world!
last one says: I've got the smallest dick of the world!
The 3 guys go to Guinness World Records.
First one goes first and returns happy: I've really got the smallest arm in the world!
Second returns happy too: I've really got the smallest head of the world!
The last one returns angry and screams: WHO THE FUCK IS Justin Beiber?????
