How long is the blade? I printed it out for measurements for a piece of wood to make the blade out of and it looks a bit small.

Thanks for this. My own Master Sword is going quite well. I made the blade out of wood, but still made the handle out of cardstock besides the place where you hold it. I made that out of a wooden dowel. And I resined it yesterday. All is good.

Didn't need to rescale any to get what is in the video. You may want to rescale it to fit your own tastes, though.

Thank you, I am. The sword and shield are both made of standard cardstock, I forget the weight, and foam backing for support. That and glue. Lots of glue.

I don't know what to say post creation. I glued my pieces directly to the backing. Possibly shoving some newspaper or cardboard into the blade would be my best advice.

@SoulcaliburMage They are mostly hollow on the inside. The shield has a thin foam back but not much else. The sword has foam on the blades and inserts at the hilt but otherwise empty.

Not terribly difficult. The hardest part was gluing the gold bits onto the sheath, at least after I figured out how to reinforce the sword.

Yup. The blades are each backed with foam and there are 4 additional foam pieces in the hilt.

The large pieces backing the blades were built around (the blades were glued directly onto the foam) and the pieces in the hilt were covered in glue and shoved into the sword then taped to hold form.
