I'm only 16 and am happy to see people finally rebelling against this country while I'm young enough to potentially see the final result. The classrooms are packed with 30, 40, and even 50 year old people furthering their education to try and find work, unfortunately most of them still can not. 15 years ago there were 4 factories in my home town all of which have closed. I don't know anyone who has attended an expensive college, but I know hundreds who have graduated state and community colleges. Most of them have good jobs; however, far to many do not.

Taxed when earned, tax when spent, by the time we buy a product in the shop it has been taxed so many times it's real price is so many times higher by the time it reaches us we pay mostly tax. So before we spend our money, governments tax our vages, then before we buy a product in a shop the manufacturer ads their tax to it, whole-seller ads his tax and profit to it, retailer ads his tax and profit to it and there is not much left from our wage.

This is definitely the beginning of a revolution. And it's about time. I'm only 16 and am happy to see people finally rebelling against this country while I'm young enough to potentially see the final result. We have all been living under constant mantra about how we're the land of the free, while the whole time none of it was true. Hopefully this will pave the way for TRUE human liberties, instead of this brainwashing that makes our kids think that we're actually a free country.

I guess you could "peacefully" oust the government (but how?), but then you're left with what to replace it with. Socialism? Fascism? A monarchy? The point I'm making is one good person in congress will not be able to make change. As a matter of fact, they wont be capable of shit, because our congress is bought. My economic interest is the keep the government from mucking about in the economic arena, because bad things happen when they do. The Occupation movement is demanding that the government move to regulate the economic moves of wall st.ers, so saying they represent me and others like me is like saying I represent everyone when I'm trying to get them a dog.
