  • think their kids saw this?

  • @7moaeriche Yes.

  • I think it is good to relax and learn for a couple. It takes a lot of balls to admit your less than great in bed. They are each damaged by others and unhealthy views of marital sex. I wish the best for them all. They are showing bravery.

  • @bigdanbear @bigdanbear thanks for your comment. It truly does take a lot of balls and character to be so transparent on national TV. They did it for you and others like you who would find there intimate truths valuable and insightful. The greatest teachers are those who are willing to reveal themselves and their own process towards self discovery.

  • Mare is intelligent, connected, and just plain lovely.

  • I think Nate was faking his frigidity so he could have a threesome.

  • Hey all. This is Nate. I want to recant a bit. The filming sequence was long and tiring and not everything that was sad was entirely in context, and even parts that were had to do with my mind being exhausted.

The Mormon Church does not teach that sex is of the devil. Temptation is of the devil. Sex is a temptation that is only ok within the bounds of matrimony. The procreation thing is not a teaching of the mormon church. It was more a way that certain members of the church seem to feel.

  • @Nate4525 Yeah Nate take your wife and come to my house I teach you some good stuff

  • The couple tortured themselves with misconceptions of religion, spirituality, and sexuality. We have personal responsibility and shared responsibility to build healthy, happy relationships. Our bodies are both physical and spiritual. Mare opened their eyes.

  • Their insecurities stem more from her abuse and their overall nerdiness than anything the mormon ideology imposed. Mormons do not teach sexual pleasure is of the devil and for procreation only.

  • Mare, you always get such great results. It just speaks to your amazing abilities and insight. I really appreciate how you are so able to help people break through those barriers that hold so many of us back. Keep up your excellent work, because there are still so many of us left to help.

    Funluvng

  • The LDS church does not teach that sex is only for procreation. It's sad that Nate is spreading false doctrine about Mormon beliefs.

  • @MoShurt + @monicakapitan I understand your feelings and would have to agree. This was Nate's personal internal battle, stemming from his own experiences. Obviously not everyone in the Mormon religion feels this same way. Thank you for voicing your views.

I would like to hear from more Mormons who have happy, healthy sex lives! And those who don't.

  • I'm not sure about the woman being in the bedroom with them, but they obviously have some problems they need to work through. As far as them saying that Mormons TEACH that sex is ONLY for procreation, that is false. I know that sex is as much to bring husband and wife together as ONE as it is to bring new life to this world. I think that it is good that they are finding that out. I myself have never had that intimidation or taboo about sex, so it is hard for me to truly comment.

  • This is so powerful and amazing! It is great to see the beauty and magick of this work. Everyone should see this!

  • Brilliant...so heartfelt and such open sharing...it is wonderful to see Monique as she is my FB friend...so amazing to see this all come to life on this video:-) thanks everyone, and bless you all.
