thats the crane from spiderman 3 lol and here we go it clappses again shite they cant fix it good mannn and i heard spiderman was busy fucking mary jane so lots of pl died
OMG! I had a dream of a crane doing the exact same thing as it happened in New York, two days ago! I live in Australia! This is just so creepy! My dream was so vivid that it was like I lived it before it all happened!
Perhaps we need to stop trying to point a finger and start trying to figure out a way in preventing this stuff from happening and killing my fellow crane operators, union or not,, this needs to STOP!!!
Sm00thOp38or - i agree. Firstly the operator's duty is to check the conditions of the crane b4 he starts work. limit switch is very important issues, when hoisting overload materials, the switch limit will alarm and auto cutoff power, this is basic safety produre a operator should do daily.(asian tc operator)
yes , indeed , hard limit switches shou;d be checked b4 every shift , however , alarms and other after market preventitive devises are AIDS to operators and no one should rely on these, I agree with you, it is the operator's ultimate decision and responsibility to check out his own crane, cuz bottom line is , it will always come back on the operator...
What does the local Union have to do with this horrible accident?More than half the cranes errected in the city are pieces of crap and so old, that they should be decomitioned!!!!!!!!!I'm a crane operator in Toronto ,Canada and i have seen my share of Sh@@y equipment.maybe when this crane before it was errected,it had the turn table repaired, and when they reassembled it they used the wrong class of steel for the bolts, supposed to be Grade"8" or A325 steel........just my two cents anyway.
Mayor Bloomberg appears after this latest tragedy spouting his predictable rhetoric. But, many saw this crane in trouble. If it had been inspected and operated responsibly at all times this would not happen. Also, the real estate fervor to get buildings up in New York City in a short period of time is part of the reason this occurred.
the last time this happened it was blamed on a city employee who faked an inspection report. The big problem in the US is big business is too greedy and cares more about profits then human life.
I am SICK of these pop-up things in every video. Who is going to click on the ads and buy something?? Annoying.

It makes sad that the crane operator did not operate his or her crane safely today, athe the expence of two lives and anpther seveely injured.
