  • You're so right sagerc2

  • What is it about the second guitarist sitting and waiting that makes this performance work so well? The ennui? Just about a perfect piece.

  • happy birthday Thom!

  • IMMORTAL-THOM YORKE

  • ...and If I could be who you wanted all the time.. dear Jenny

  • @RadioChrisHead

    your fake plastic love...

  • if it says that "it wears me out" what does it mean?

  • @kilayk I have always interpreted that line as the frustration and the exhaustion it takes to maintain an image or false appearance, and eventually you realize the uselessness and superficiality of it all and free yourself from other people's expectations, that's what this song really is for me.

  • @PopCultureSucks I agree totally wiyh you, to me this song is about exactly what you just said [and why are there so many f'n fake plastic trees in this world?...why?]

  • I cry when I hear this song. Makes me think of situations in life that suck, but really good song! I love it!

  • I'm sorry to repeat myself from another R'head tune, but Thom Yorke & Jonny Greenwood must be the new Lennon & McCartney?

  • @arch1003 yea some guy was saying in the comments section of another vid that Radiohead was this generations' Pink Floyd, which I tend to agree with for the most part as far as their musical style is concerned, but I must say this is a good call as well. Although I suppose they could just as easily be compared to David Gilmore and Roger Waters. I was thinking Greenwood and Yorke would be closer if they had the secret society connections as well 0_o that's more like Jay-Hove-Z and CONye WEST haha

  • Magic, plain magic

  • It's incredible how many heart strings this pulls... or should I say caresses

  • thumbs up

  • The audio quality isn't particularly good, but the "actual" quality is so high, especially Yorke's voice, that this is totally worth listening to.

  • it makes me wanna cry

  • it nakes me wanna cry

  • what year was this?

  • perfect!!!!!!!!

  • Amazing.

  • Damn, this isn't the version I'm looking for. There's an even better version than this. At the very beginning Yorke says, "I hope, I hope somebody's listening," then it starts. It sounds lonely and eerie, like it was recorded at the bottom of a wishing well, and is awesomely beautiful. This is a great version too, but damn.

  • This songs is so beauty, so nice, it almost make me cry

  • this great song/performance is very much preserved it's okay for me that it don't have that many views, this just mean we have just great taste in music. peace!

  • i miss this shit

  • i don't feel like moving for days... it wears me out..... feels like the REAL thing.... the most REAL emotion i've seen... just real emotions... this is what most of the bands are missing these days...

  • It wets me out !

  • So great, brill. What can be said?

  • I love this song. But it makes me cry and I don't know why.

  • @littlefoo20 I heard this song for the first time and it made me cry too. It still does.

  • Magnificent.

  • simply genius!!

  • How does this not have 100000000 views. This is the most beautiful performance I have ever heard. Cannot think of anyone who has reached that level of emotion and purity in a performance.

  • @sagerc2 then you have not heard of a guy named Jeff Buckley that actually inspired this song.

  • @Bighead8386 That's wrong!, Buckley did not inspire the song, the song was recorded after a show of him.

    Just that.

  • @Camillegutman Poor choice of words from me, sorry. But if you think he didn't have an influence on the song, you my friend are incorrect. Anyone familiar with Jeff Buckley can hear it.

  • @Bighead8386 Thom Yorke is a genius by himself, doesn't need anything from anyone else.

  • @Camillegutman So, you're telling me Thom Yorke hasn't been influence or inspired by anything? He's just a heartless musical genius with no understanding/appreciation of anything but his own music? That's simply ignorance

  • @sagerc2 because there isnt enough respect for Radiohead, respect they really deserve. Some day whether they are still together or long since departed society will realize how good they actually were. Someday...

  • @sagerc2

i agree with you. Very intense performance.. The way it should be. Thanks Radiohead.

  • @sagerc2 Because not many people know Raidohead?.. Dur..

  • @sagerc2 working on it

  • @sagerc2

once I did, but it took the birth of a son.

  • @sagerc2 ...Eddie Vedder? Kurt Cobain? Even Freddy Mercury.... although he had flamboyance that helped me achieve that level of emotion. I don't like how people single out any one person, or band, but it's best if we just enjoy the music. I am glad that there is still REAL music out there among this mainstream shit they call iTunes top hits.

  • @NateHail Cobain's a joke, Vedder's OK. Mercury is a genius with a god like voice, who trumps his wannabe Yorke every time.

  • @andross637 Well who's got the 23 thumbs up? Looks like you are the joke, here.

  • @NateHail Ha, how pathetic. I once saw on a segment of Ted Bundy's final interview, a comment that said, "Bundy is God", with 14 thumbs up. Seems thumbs don't really reflect the validity of what's being said.

Only 22 precious thumbs up now, by the way.

  • @andross637 Haven't you been told? It's not what is true or important that matters, it's what the majority agree with.

  • @NateHail O RLY? Congrats on voting your own comment back up to 23 thumbs.

  • @andross637 Haha. Wasn't me. Didn't know you could thumbs up your own comment...?

  • @NateHail You rascal.

  • @sagerc2 Pete Doherty, every time he picks up a guitar.

  • @tellittoyourking1 It's not the guitar skills I'm impressed with, it's the songwriting skill and his voice.

  • @tellittoyourking1 Sorry, thought you said Thom.

  • @TheSANFILLIPO nuff said amigo

  • hi is some like trans

  • so very very gorgeous it wears me out
