@chmodesto Actually her Husband is Healthy and is not dying of cancer(From Meredith).He is ill but not dying and is healthy according to Meredith, She left because she did not like getting up at 2am. She left Today show but decided to stay with NBC so NBC assigned her to a new position and she will still be making appearances on Today show, including contributing to the Olympics in London and the Election. I am glad that she stayed at NBC and will stay make appearances on Today show!

Too Cool! The folks of the Today show are just your average Joe's This was the perfect sendoff. This shows they are just like the rest of us. Matt Lauer, Meredith, Ann and Al have constantly demonstrated this. That's why this is the best AM show!
