sorry was confused , never seen it referred to as a crystal, i usually think of a crystal oscillator when i hear crystal, but where did you find it for $2 i cant find them anywhere, can you please post a link? also i dont think russian schematics translate well to english, where your transistor is it says vt1 kt805nm , but a transistor is not vt ,it is Q in a scematic, when i seached google only pages came up were all in russian, so russians must use different letters for components in schema
@kavcr what do you mean crystal, that is not a crystal, its an ultrasonic transducer, the link next to where it says crystal takes you to an ultrasonic transducer ,not a crystal , but where do you get the damn transducer , and for $2 , the site in the link doesnt sell them unless you buy 10000 ,and i cant find any anywhere for less than 15.00$ and 6.00 shipping , so can you post a link to a site where i can buy thr transducer , for 2 $ ?
you can find an actual one on deal sites for <15 shipped to your home why bother

where can we buy the transducer from? thanks

I would like to build one of these, but I can't get kt805im transistors where I live. Do you know of some other transistor that would work?

@TheRasbx8 Yes, any non-Darlington power NPN with Vceo≥60V, IC≥3A, hFE≥20 and fT≥10 MHz
D44H8 / D44H11 are good enough.

I can hear you constantly blowing on it to release the steam, that doesn't sound too convenient...

hi, was wondering if you had a more detailed list for the parts?

Hey< I just realized that you already link the circuit... Lol!
But, few question tho...
How did you manage to make the inductors?
What kind of core did you use? Air-cored or ferrite-cored?
How what's the wire gauge for those inductors?
Thanks!

@afdhalatifftan92 just buy some inductors somewhere :D

Big heat sink ;) what voltage are you applying? thanks for sharing.
Xonoxsuka 1 year ago
@Xonoxsuka Big heatsink is because of semi-linear switching mode .
About 30 V.

Can this be built cheaper than buying one?
ronaimwal 2 years ago
@ronaimwal Why not, especially if you have 2$ for the crystal, electronic trash is available and you are not afraid of soldering?
KaVcr 2 years ago 2
@KaVcr so your making a basic radio circuit and then feeding the mhz signal into a crystal??
boxa888 1 year ago
@boxa888
Yes, crystal is a part of the generator as a positive feedback element.
