  • ..............no i can't even be bothered.....

  • This shit is why being agnostic is the way to go

  • @NotakuBlog Atheist and Agnostics are the same my friend... they are just 2 differnet answers to 2 different questions

  • @nixagrad Not really, Atheists say that the is definitely no God, while Agnostics say that there may or may not be one, we have now way of knowing.

  • @NotakuBlog If I ask you do you believe there is a God and you say "I dont know" then yes your are an Agnostic but if I say do you believe in God then your only two choice will be yes or no. If you say "I dont know" to the first question then your answer to the second question must be no because your not certain of an exciting God and that my friend makes you and Atheist aslo.

  • @nixagrad I understand that argument, but still, Agnostics don't say that - for a fact - there is no God. I will concede that all of them would claim to be Atheists before Christians though.

  • This is quite literally one of the most stupid things I have ever seen.

  • A like for the music from me.

  • would there need to be a purpose for god were there not people on this Earth

  • All this video shows is that humans (en mass) can be very very gulliable.

  • Atheism is a religion like "off" is a television channel. THIS MAKES NO SENSE

  • FUCKING IDIOT! YOUR UNICORN EXAMPLE IS PERFECT! RELIGIONS ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO FOLLOW LIKE FOOLS, LIKE SHEEP, LIKE CATTLE, LIKE CHILDREN. WHAT THEY DONT ENCOURAGE, AND MANY TIMES ACTUALLY DISCOURAGE, IS USING YOUR OWN BRAIN TO RATIONALIZE AND FIGURE OUT WHAT MAKES SENSE AND WHAT IS SIMPLY FICTION AND ENTERTAINMENT (THE BIBLE)

  • Your theory brings to my mind the story of the emperor's new clothes. You had one swindler tell the emperor and everyone else that there really was fabric and everyone followed along for fear that maybe they were wrong because everyone else said they saw the new fabric. "A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals... 1500 years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. 500 years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat,.... Imagine what you'll know tomorrow."

  • Problem, if 15000 people say the SEE a unicorn behind me ok i may be wrong, if 15000 people say i BELIEVE that theres an invisible unicorn behind me i would say no, what you believe is fiction and you need to embrace that. Not an Atheist though just your example was pretty horribad

  • This guy is actually a hero. You atheist are nuts with nothing to back it up. Mah Bible has the answers.

  • @CoolCat123450

what is the backup for the bible?

  • @CoolCat123450 WHY DO YOU SAY THAT AS IF IT IS ACTUALLY INTELLIGENT OR THAT IT PROVES ANYTHING? YOUR RELIGIOUS BOOK DOES NOT "PROVE" ANYTHING! ITS SIMPLY THE THOUGHTS AND THEORIES AND PHILOSOPHIES OF MEN THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO. LEARN WHAT YOU CAN FROM IT BUT DONT BASE YOUR EXISTENCE ON IT. PLEASE MAN, FOR THE SAKE OF OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS, WAKE UP AND JOIN REALITY! PEACE

  • Ahem...it's called an Invisible Pink Unicorn. I believe they are pink.

  • My problem with your first point is that it is impossible to prove that a god doesn't exist. Gods are completely unobservable and cannot be felt or tested. There simply is no way to disprove such a construct and therefore the burden of proof can't lie with atheists. There is absolutely no evidence that can ever be presented against a god's existence. All we can do is refute or try to disprove evidence presented by theists and hope that in the face of no evidence people reject their claims.

  • if somebody says "there is an invisible unicorn behind you!", it'd be completely useless to turn around and *look*. it's invisible! INVISIBLE! YOU CAN'T SEE IT!

just pointing out one of the many logical fallacies of this bat-shit crazy vid... facepalm.

  • but thats what science is for. every time a theist makes a claim, it gets debunked. such as 6000 year old earth. although that doesnt debunk a belief in god, that debunks a claim made by theists. and these are the only kinds of claims that are made

  • Religion.is the foundation to understand the unknown the fear of the unknown therefore your claiming ignorance by being religious. Go suck God's dick so you can have your taste of sanity. Also if you were educated you wouldnt be an angry guy on youtube who just gets bashed by athiests after you get frustrated by your own ignorance. Go to school kids so you dont turn out like a raging troll like this guy.

  • Christianity cannot be true because Yahweh and Jesus are so very different. One orders rapes and murders and pillaging and endorses racism, sexism and so on, while the other asks that you turn the other cheek and love your neighbor and heals the sick, etc. For Jesus and God to be one would take a change of heart from Yahweh, which is impossible because he is a perfect being. That is all the logic that I need to debunk an entire religion. How many faiths did you debunk to know you have truth?

  • So we have a strawman and then an argument from popularity. I'll stop watching right there.

  • You are a completely uneducated hick!!! You read my mind. Thanks.

  • If 15000 people were shouting there was an invisible unicorn behind me, and I thought there wasn't I would ask them why they thought there was an invisible unicorn behind me. And if the answer was something like: "this old book says there is," or: "that man in a dress told me" I would not easily believe them.

  • Two words which will finish this whole argument: Carl Sagan

  • You keep mentioning there is evidence for god, but never point out one of them. Why is this?

  • /watch?v=fEkWH8DB7b0

  • So because most of the world is fucking stupid, I should become fucking stupid. Brilliant.

  • quite honestly i don't care if people believe in religion or not.

  • There is a Unicorn behind you. If you require evidence and turn around to look, you think like an atheist. If you just have faith and take everyone's word for and don't turn around to look(don't require evidence) you think like a Christian. Simple as that dude.

  • I killed a lion in an african safari, proove me that i'm wrong jackass.

  • @HanSDevX

Pics or I don't believe you!

  • there is a unicorn behind you, there is a unicorn behind you...

  • Saying that a majority of people in the world belive in some sort of god is true, but you have to consider all the diffrent forms of god contradict eachother. Explaning my statement in the form of the invisible unicorn situation would be like a crowd of people who all claim theirs an invisible being behind you but they all claim it's a diffrent thing such as a dragon or a tiger.

  • Its not that millions of people are telling me there is a unicorn behind me. Its that millions of people are believing there is a unicorn behind everybody. Told to them by their parents, who were told by there parents for a thousand years and they told that by there rulers. When in fact it would be unlikely to have even believed that a unicorn was behind them if their equal told them that.

  • @TheColinJernigan A very well written and well stated point. A thumb to the skies from me, good sir!

  • WOW! Your stupidity is so frustrating! I just watch your first video and now this and there is so much shit i could respond with but it would take way too long. So i am just hoping other viewers have been commenting the thoughts i have from watching you. I hate all Christians because you're all the same. Stupid and contradictory of your own beliefs. Morons.

  • Why are we talking about this when neither party can prove anything? Isnt it called ´faith´ because you cant proove it? I dont belive in god for one second, but I would never discuss the subject by demanding proof in either direction. The "invisble unicorn" is invisible guys, why are we trying to convince others that its there or not there?

  • Alright here's my $.02. If you really want people to believe in the one true God, live your faith don't argue it. I say this as a disciple of Christ, not a "christian".

  • 0:58 LOOK OUT THERE'S AN INVISIBLE MAN ABOVE YOU!!!

  • Christians may not have all the answers, but c'mon, this guy can freakin' teleport from one side of the screen to the other. That's gotta count for something.

  • "i dont believe in air"

Guess what dumbass ... you can see the atoms which form air perfectly with the right technology.

I SINCERLY HOPE THIS IS ONLY TROLLING. everything else wants me to kill my self right now

  • Oh wow this is so sad ... cant believe people are so blind and ignorant and of course stupid.

I cant BELIEVE this guy belongs to the same species as me -.-

  • @1:54

If everybody thought the world was flat it would make no difference to the shape of the world, likewise billions of people telling you that there is a god does not have any relationship to weather or not a god exists.

    as for an argument against the existence of god, I will list my favourites;

    -Dawkin's 747 gambit (probability)

-Argument from incomplete revelation (if god exists we would expect the world to be very different)

-and Occam's razor (the universe works well without god)

  • @ 1:26 !!!!!!!CAUTION FALLACY!!!!!!! You talk about ad hominem attacks (fallacy) and how they are bad, yet you use the appeal to authority fallacy. So it is right when you do it, but it is wrong when we (atheists) do it.

  • christian and atheists are all the same. they believe things that ultimately have literally no way to be proved.

    i'm agnostic.

  • @TRBerjoProductions yours is right because your open

  • OK, I could try to get into the religious discussion here, but after watching this I'd much rather inform you that you tend to ramble and not get to the point when talking. I understand the style you are aiming for, but nonetheless, halfway through the video I was begging you to get on with it.

I came here expecting you to challenge my beliefs; you cannot waste time like this when dealing with important, controversial subjects. Its beyond annoying.

  • Qualia Soup Please.

  • i would u know if a invisible unicorn was behind u if it is invisible

  • I am an atheist. My family however is stricly baptist christain and would most likely disown me based on my belief that there is no god. Yes, I agree you have to BELIEVE there is no god. But I digress, I grew up with the bible constantly being read to me, and in truth I love the bible. The bible is an amazing peice of literature, some of my favorite tales come from it.

I very recently became an atheist for personal reasons, and i have NEVER and NEVER will challange another person beliefs.

  • There doesn't have to be a burden of proof for atheists or theists. Believe what you want and don't try to force those beliefs on anyone else. Ever. Just don't do it.

  • So... you're saying... God is an invisible unicorn? I'm definitely an atheist.

  • @KBPHOTOGRAPHYorig God works from the inside out where as we work from the outside in.. He changes our hearts then our life around us. That's the proof. Thing is, proving God exists isn't as easy as you may think. I can't give you the bible and say 'Look, here's your proof', God needs to change the way you think in order for you to understand..

  • My problem is not with the fact that there is or is not a god but I do not believe a speck of the Bible. It's been completely destroyed by logic and science and can no longer stand as any sort of evidence to me.

  • it's called quantom physics

  • @kungfupandas101 quantum** physics have a lot of unanswered questions and thoroughly support the idea of some sort of higher power, regardless of what you'd like to call it. Did you know electrons move in a different pattern when they are being observed? How would they know when they are being watched by scientists? There are many strange mysteries that we as humans cannot explain. Just as atheists justify the unknown with evidence, Christians justify it with faith.

  • And what exactly is everyone's proof that god exists? The bible does not count as proof.

  • the problem us christians have = showing he is true.

    1. We talk to him, he doesn't talk back physically, he talks back in time and through dreams etc.. I can't explain it properly, but trust me.. HE IS VERY, VERY REAL.

It's upsetting for us to see an atheist not believe, when really they probably haven't talked to him and maybe just gave up on the whole idea. God's not stupid, he knows how we work, just trust him. Talk to him, he loves you :)

  • @chaar230 We haven't talked to him because he doesn't exist.. O.o

  • Comment removed

  • This guy just gave a reason not to believe in god.. the one with the unicorn resembling atheism? how about that being god? Same story, christians are only christians because of their parents and community.

  • by the way did anyone mention the ontological argument yet? that may be one of the worst arguments for a god, probably even among believers.

  • atheism is not faith. case in point: science doesn't believe in supernatural things. if somebody simply believes in science, then a god is out of the question. there are some places where scientific inquiry must stop, like "why does light travel at the speed it does? what caused that?" we don't know, but "god made it so" is not a scientific answer

  • @jameshalterman Well actually that's not my strongest evidence. Like yours, it was more meant to poke fun at his previous comment's flaws. However, if you REALLY want to hear my evidence, then I would be glad to debate with you. But you (and I) will have to leave the insults behind for that. There simply isn't enough room in these comments to focus your time and energy on insults when there is so much that needs to be explained.

  • Okay. There are 1 billion people saying "Islam is right! Islam is right!" and 13 million people saying "Judaism is right!! Judaism is right!" Are you gonna start looking at your belief? No, you're not. Because you believe that Christianity is right. And I believe that Atheism is right. No difference.

  • a large majority? there are more than 6 billion ppl in the world and only over 2 billion Christians, 1 billion Muslims, you call this large majority?

  • 2:16 "If I just said that I dont believe in air that would be a very hard belief to hold to because air would be flying in the face of everybody else"

Well... is your god, the god God, flying in the face of everybody else? Can we feel him slaping our face like wind does?

  • @caralhoman yes....but he's not slapping you in the face with his hand....

  • Who said that atheist want to 1:10 "unequivocally and irrevocably proof that there is no invisible unicorn behind you"? They do not want to prove or disprove anything.

It is YOU that want to "unequivocally and irrevocably proof" something, so YOU start gathering proof for what you want to "unequivocally and irrevocably proof". It is that simple. Accept it or you will have to disprove the unexistence of over 4000 gods that have ever been invented.

  • Of course atheism is a faith, Dr William Craig has proven that. "Abscence of evidence is not evidence of abscence." Theres also a long list of criteria that a claim has to meet in order to be taken seriously, there isn't enough room to list them all here but there is the evidence expectation and knowledge expectation scenarios, they are just two of many, santa and invisible unicorns don't meet ANY of the required criteria and CAN be disproven with a lot of ease.

  • @MLangan86 Also to add to what I just said, at the very least a person should be a soft agnostic, agnosticism doesn't require any sort of faith. Atheism however does. There isn't enough room here to type all of the arguments. @MrMinistryMan you should seriously check out the reasonablefaith website

  • I dont have a counter argument for those defending theism, and i dont think that they are wrong in any sense, i my self am an atheist, but im not out to get anyone that believes in an all powerful god or gods (whatever religion you belong to) i dont care as long as your happy and it gives you the hope you need to live your life the way it best suits you and gives you whatever else you need in life to make you a better person excellent, now let me be atheist and lets all go home happy

  • Because a minority is minority it has to prove its lack of faith?

  • @jameshalterman I see, so because you've never seen one, or discovered any skeletons, tell me, do you not believe in a squid that measures over 150 feet? We have no skeletons, and we've only seen squid that measure up to 120 feet, and that's with VERY minimal sighting. However, isn't it possible that we haven't explored the right areas yet? There is a lot of Earth we haven't explored oddly enough.

(I just disproved your argument in less than 500 characters on this tiny little comment box.)

  • @RecycledMana sorry, science doesn't work like that- when your strongest evidence towards proving something is that there isn't any evidence against it, it generally doesn't mean jack shit. absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence- i presume from what you're saying that you believe in bigfoot, the lochness monster & leprechauns as well.

  • all i got out of this was some delusional guy jumping around the screen rambling crap whilst trying to manipulate the viewer into hating him and subscribing to his channel

    With shitty elevator music

  • I tried to watch some of his other videos, however he tries to guide the way one would answer. This makes it B.S. and not an actual scientific process. I was disappointed, but shouldn't have been surprised.

  • Popular opinion has no effect on the truth of the Universe. It doesn't matter how many people believe something, if it isn't true, it is never going to be true.

  • what can be asserted without proof can be dismissed without proof

  • You obviously don't understand the basis of scientific theory and study. You can't prove that something doesn't exist; Science as an institution does not set out to prove things that do not exist, because it isn't possible. You can only prove what does exist; which is why scientists put the ball in the court of the believers because they should have to find proof that their deity exists...a non-believer can not prove something doesn't exist because the scientific method doesn't work like that.

  • okay, let's do just that: proving there isn't a unicorn behind you...

well, is there a unicorn behind you?

no, all i can see is a teddy bear and a schmultzy little "Nietzsche is dead" poster.

    does invisibility exist?

...well, no- they just realized last year that it was even possible, & that's on a subatomic level.

    do unicorns exist?

can't say i've ever seen one, or discovered any skeletons.

DONE. i just totally disproved your argument in less than 500 characters on this tiny little comment box.

  • @jameshalterman And there were no black swans! ....until they found them in Australia and were like, "wtf?"

  • @jameshalterman It was something like that...

  • Also did u know the majority of people in the world are atheists

  • There is no proof for any faith there theories just some make more sense e.g athiesm

  • That which can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

  • Comment removed

  • I know there's not a unicorn behind me when I turn around and see that there isn't a unicorn behind me. That's all the evidence and proof I need. It becomes a philosophical debate. If a tree falls down in a forest and no one is there to see or hear it fall then did it really fall? The answer is no because if no one is their to acknowledge it or no one knows it happened for sure it doesn't exist. You're taught this in basically every philosophy class you'll take. Why is religion any different?

  • @ihatepeeps2011

    FUCK ATHEIST/FUCK ATHEIST/FUCK ATHEIST

    FUCK ATHEIST/FUCK ATHEIST/FUCK ATHEIST

    FUCK ATHEIST/FUCK ATHEIST/FUCK ATHEIST

    FUCK ATHEIST/FUCK ATHEIST/FUCK ATHEIST

  • @2Skandalouz fuch off, arschloch.

  • you clearly do not understand basic logic

  • is nearly impossible to win a ''prove it'' argument that is why atheist dont want to be in the defensive and always in the attaking side

  • my number one thing to say to atheist is "look around you, everything has a creator. from the underwear you wear to the car you drive to the buliding you work in" so if mankind has created this f'd way of life and society. who created us? all i got say is "who made who" look, people choose not to believe in god for the same reason people choose to make their body a canvas or a pin cushion... ATTENTION!!!!

  • @jackofbee I'm agnostic, so I'll play devil's advocate here. What you are saying, that everything must have a creator, is a very modern way of thinking. Sure, today we have production, manufacturing, ect, and it makes sense that everything must come from somewhere, therefore necessitating there to be a god, then what created god, ie. If something must have created the universe, something must have created god, right?

  • Or you know, you could turn around, walk forward, and touch the invisible unicorn. Evidence gained, existence of unicorn proved. "Oh, but I could miss the unicorn, thus not proving it's there!" So, cover the area in fog. Existence of the unicorn would displace the fog, making it visible.

  • Just because the majority is brainwashed, misguided, and insane doesn't suddenly mean that we should TAKE A VOTE...yeah, everyone who believes in the invisible man in the sky for whom there's no evidence raise your hands.....(counting)....ok, everyone who DOESN'T believe in the invisible man? Ok, more people believe the fantasy than don't, guess that means the minority should start believing based on no more "evidence" than that....? No, sorry, wrong.

  • 405 people are incredibly stupid.

  • I use the facts to come to a conclusion. For example, if your beliefs originally said something different about how the organisms in this world came about then evolution then its enough to question the validity of other things our religion poses as truth. I do not use my individual beliefs or dispositions to pick out facts or twist them into some. Just because the majority of people say something doesn't make it right, there was a time where everyone thought the world was flat.

  • if you open your mind too much, your brain will fall out. this i think is exemplified by this closeted waste of flesh

  • You can talk bullshit all you want buddy. But lets face it, there isn't a goddam unicorn behind you.

  • Well maybe you should wake up and realize that there IS no unicorn behind you. Just look at the ratings of the video. People are getting smarter and are realizing how silly the religion really is. I think the fact that there are about 6.5 times more down votes on this video is proof of that. You guys are slowly dying out.

  • Study psychology on the unicorn thing. Islam is growing faster than Christianity.

  • @fogt1430 Well, don't you think that killing people for a guarantee to get virgins is more entertaining than debating the existence of God, and then having a probability of going to Hell? Is it not easier to be a non-Christian?

  • @andreyk37 I believe both religions are ridiculous and lack any proof other than the book themselves. Killing people for virgins burning woman because their neighbor said they are witches all good fun. Something i am sure the"perfect" being would give a thumbs up to.

  • prooving the existence or non-existence of a god or a God is a red-herring.I don't care what you or other Christians believe, that is your right. But,when you place your rules over others is when you become pests(plain & simple).for example:the Christian Right, aka Republican theocrats says that they're against "BigGovernment" & then wants government (a la Constantine)to enforce its proscriptions against GayMarriage & Abortion onto all.

  • @tlaniganschmidt Is not trying to make evolution part of education "placing your rules over others" ? Laws are proscriptions. Why can't we kill legally? Someone made the law.

By the way, Christians, real ones anyway, stay out of government. (I'm talking about taking office, not voting.) What you're talking about are not real Christians. Republicans have faults that are not supposed to be in Christians, like you said. So, they aren't Christians, they just have the nickname.

  • @andreyk37 oneChristian says that imitatingChrist is beingChristian.Another says babies should be Baptized.Another only those old enough to know the meaning of Baptism.Catholics&Orthodox say the bread&Wine is reallyChrist'sBody&Blood.Ptotestants sayItsJust aSymbol & still onlyBread & Wine.&you all have a right under the Constitution to believe any or none of these things.Evolution is not a religious belief.Imposing Religious belief is against theConstitution,Evolution is notReligion.

  • @andreyk37 Christians have a long history of saying which type of Christian is "aReal Christian"Catholics have killed Protestants.Protestants killedCatholics & each other. You can believe in whatever "Christianity"youChoose.I don't care what you believe, but its part of your mystical world view.If you are against abortion, then you should be giving out condoms to prevent abortions.Prevent the death of an-unborn.& GayMarriage is a civilContract.FollowYourRites&Rules.I'm not anAtheist,OK.

  • Argument ad populum. You're still wrong about burden of proof, and you still haven't provided evidence.

  • or maybe, just maybe those 15,000 people are tripping the fuck out on LSD

  • . which by the way completely dismisses your "there are so many of us so we can't all be wrong" by the fact that you are heavily out numbered by Muslims.

  • Ok first of all you say you want counter arguments for your 'evidence" that god it real and all that but you don't give any of this evidence for us to argue against, Secondly you act as if there are only 2 kinds of people in the world, those who believe in a Christian god and those who don't. but the truth is are are many, many other religious views out there.

  • maybe, just maybe, there's something wrong with the thousands of people telling you there's a unicorn behind you.

common opinion does not equal truth.

  • Your comparing your own belief to a unicorn, so, you yourself, think of your god as a unicorn hahahaha AND NO MAN;! THERE's NO UNICORN!!!!

  • Just cause u disagree w/ my atheism doesnt mean u get 2 invalidate it w/ ur counterintuitive remarks. I take pride in NOT having a faith. U wanting to overanalyze & pretend that me not believing in god takes up ANY of my time, effects me in no way/shape/form. I am the OPPOSITE of u. Not that I respect u any less as a person but if u try to validate the "Atheism is a religion" argument, Im gona validate the "religiousness is a mental disorder" argument. DONT step on my toes & I won't step on urs

  • I need a word to describe my standing on religion. I believe in God as an idea, not an omniscient being watching over us. In particle colliders, scientists have proved that if you collide energy into a pin point, it will form matter, similar to the big bang. However, for this matter to be created, you need an abundant flow of energy. I consider that energy God. So I call myself atheist, but I respect religious people's faith and the united power it brings. What do you call that?

  • Can i have a talk here? For all of the christians saying ''There has to be a creator'' Well then how did your so called ''God'' be created? I am an athiest and will always be. Christians just got blown up by my fact

  • @troyw545 God, unlike the universe, had no beginning, so doesn't need a cause. In addition, Einstein's general relativity, which has much experimental support, shows that time is linked to matter and space. So time itself would have begun along with matter and space.

  • @staywithaces1984 So your saying that ''God'' is just nothing.Everything did have a beginning and the big bang was the beggining. This explosion happened a LONG LONG time ago and was made by the release of chemicals and stuff like that. How could ''God'' create a thing more than a billion miles long out of nothing. That is like trying to do 0 - 100000000 it is impossible. We do not know how this energy was released and will or never know. How could God get all these resources from NOTHING.Thank you

  • @troyw545 You proved my point........Nothing was created from nothing.....God created everything because like you said nothing was created from nothing..........

  • @troyw545 When you are trying to debate using facts never say "long long time ago" or "chemicals and stuff like that."............The universe is at least 150 billion light-years in diameter. NOTHING Is Impossible With God. According to many philosophers God has no beginning and no end. He created the universe and everything in it..............Show me proof God does not exist............

  • @staywithaces1984 While religeon is going in a circle science is going further in a straight line. Can i just ask this question ,Do you believe in other inteligent life? if you do obviously god cant be real

  • @troyw545 There is nothing in the Bible that says God created life only on this planet. Doesn't even rule out other intelligent life in the universe. God has no limits, and the only limit in religion is the mind of man, who is unable to comprehend this. Faith teaches that there are an infinity of other planets out there, and each is alive with God's creatures. They may be very unlike us, but they exist.

  • @staywithaces1984 correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure that there is something in the bible which says that humans are gods image and he wouldnt make anything else or some kind of dumb shit like that.

  • @Irock901000 Christians think, ‘God must have created life elsewhere, otherwise this enormous universe would be an awful waste of space.’ In my experience, this seems to be the major underlying reason why people think that there must be other life ‘out there’. However, our thinking should be based on what God said He did (the Bible), and not what we think He would, should or might have done. Short answer I do not know. I think if we all knew everything life would be boring.

  • @Irock901000 Wow..... you are an atheist and you don't know what you are arguing about. If you're so biased as to not even read the bible to find that out, don't enter discussions like this. All you do is put illogical, contradicting, false info into an otherwise beneficial discussion.

Let me put it this way. If I know close to nothing about quantum physics, should enter a discussion about one? What use will my comments bring?

Saying that protons are positive wont help.

  • @andreyk37 well you see, thats why i said "correct me if im wrong" not "you are a dumbshit it says this" its funny how most christians havent read the bible themselves though

  • @troyw545 My friend I am not trying to win a debate or change your beleives in anyway. But I think you and everyone should do your their own research and come to their own conclusions.

  • @troyw545 God by definition is the uncreated creator of the universe, so the question Who created God? is illogical. So a more sophisticated questioner might ask: If the universe needs a cause, then why doesn't God need a cause? And if God doesn't need a cause, why should the universe need a cause?

1.Everything which has a beginning has a cause.

    2.The universe has a beginning.

3.Therefore the universe has a cause.

The universe requires a cause because it had a beginning.

  • @staywithaces1984 have you heard of the contracting expanding universe theory? that the universe is in an endless cycle of expanding, contracting into a singularity, and then recreating itself via a big bang. it's bot proven, sure. but the lack of an answer for what caused the universe is not a reason to jump to conclusions. instead we seek out the answer using reason and discovery. ie: science.

  • @TadghD How was the universe created? How was the Earth Created? What is Absolute Truth? Nobody will ever know these things.

  • @TadghD Yes its called the big crunch theory science can never be proven right or wrong. Science is really: “Truth Without Certainty.” "theory" is a relatively meaningless word technically, everything is "just a theory."

  • The only reason most people believe is because they were brought up to be told what they do... They never saw proof, they just believed their parents or whatever when they were little and never found a reason not to as they grew up.

  • @maxter480 Dude, believing and proof are two different things. To say "I need to see/touch to believe" is an pxymoron, just as if you say beautyfull uglyness,or genious stupidity. You need to see to KNOW,not to believe.Believing=faith

  • @ThePurpleHarpoon God cares about everyone more than you and I can imagine.

  • It doesn't matter how many people believe something. That has absolutely no connection to whether it is actually true.

  • Whether God is real or not, look how good it made people, I mean sure there are bad Christian but there are bad Atheists too, but anyways I go to a Lutheran church because I truly want to be a believer in God, but for some reason I just can't make myself believe. Too much undeniable proof against God, and not enough for God. Like you can prove evolution, but i nthe bible it clearly states trhere is no evolution. It also says i nthe bible that bats are a type of bird, which we know is false. Sigh

  • @ChrisEffer what undeniable proof? the theory of evolution is full of bull crap thats undeniable

  • So.. 2000 years ago, in the middle east, God told MEN what to write down... knowing that it will be translated over and over, misinterpreted, wars will be fought, misery, etc... don't you think honestly that if there was a God and it wanted to get it's message across to everyone, it could just zap all of our brains at the same time? What if I said God inspired me to talk for it? I would be crazy to you, yet your entire faith rests on believing men that said the same thing. Hmm

  • @BrendanWhelan That would not be free choice.

  • The amount of dislikes this guy gets, gives me faith that one day we can live without religion.

  • If God doesn't care for the non-believers, then shame on him.

  • All evidence that God exists was brought forth by man.If i was God I'd be communicating with my people EVERY day.ALL of 'em, not just the ones who believe in me.

EVERY ONE is special...not just half or a quarter...EVERY DAMN ONE !

  • Your all christians... the bible is the history of the isrealites. jesus died only unto the children of israel. not for the world. read the whole bible next time. fyi know thy God-self and know thy God

  • When I try and prove God exists, there are no testable facts that result from the existence of God, but there are facts that contradict the God in the bible(dinosaurs, earths movement, etc.) So if the only data you can collect disprove your theory, how can that theory be true?

  • I'm all for theorizing explanations of existence because that's the first stepping in finding the answers. But unlike God, I can without a doubt prove the earth is round because I can collect tangible undeniable facts and data that would not exist had the earth not been round. (CONT.)

  • I've gone to catholic schools all my life and I've always struggle with believing in God because I looked at two scenarios.1. A universe where there is a God, and if your a believer than this is that universe.2. A universe where there isn't a God, and this is the world non-believes think we live in. Through both perspectives God is real and not real, Therefore in a world where both scenarios exist with or without God, how can he exist? (CONT.)

  • You CANNOT argue for or against ANYONE'S faith or lack thereof. One's beliefs are unique to themselves and no one else. Trying to argue ANY point on this subject is POINTLESS. Believe what you want to believe and stop trying to disprove the beliefs of others (this goes for atheists as well as religious folks.) Religion is a powerful tool that can be used to provide guidance in life. However, not everyone needs it to find happiness. This is an asinine video.

  • I'm an atheist and i can respect this guy. He's being a reasonable person who holds a position and seems to want to understand the opposing view point.

  • @happyflea seeing as he constantly claims that atheism is a belief system i'd argue that in fact he has no idea about the opposing view

  • can I ask, why would you need to believe in something that made you? If it's true, and God created everything, why does God need us to praise it? Like, great job God, you made us. OK? And?

  • @BrendanWhelan lol you clearly havent read the bible god LOVES US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats why he sent his son to dies for us =/ does that ring a bell? its like if you made a really cool device that you cherished and say it did 1 bad thing, would you destroy it? no i dont think so =/

  • @TheMightyOzaru No God loves the Children of isreal it clearly says that Romans 11:25-32. they are gods chosen people to spread the word jesus was sent to die for only israel. the church really got you folks brianwashed read the bible on you own next time

  • @ChukudaChuChuTrain *facepalm* no go read all the bible god loves everyone >_>

  • @TheMightyOzaru ok Esau

  • @ChukudaChuChuTrain also Christians were a part of israel we just spread out to spread the word of jesus go read it again god loves everyone even atheist he just doesnt like what they believe

  • @ChukudaChuChuTrain John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." huh seems like god loves everyone to me

  • @TheMightyOzaru ok Esau

  • @TheMightyOzaru actually I have read the Bible. Have you read the Old Testament? The one that paints God as a ruthless, angry God that wipes out it's creations except for Noah and his wife. What a kind loving God that is! And don't give me the argument, Man sinned and needed to be taught a lesson.. Uh. What?!!! So, God makes Man in his image, knowing it will sin and destroys mankind... then wait, here's the kicker: God sends his Son to save it's own creations! Ok.
