How about a good French Bread recipe. I wonder what Reisings New Orleans french bread does to make it so good. Tony's sells it, and parents used to drive to New Orleans to get it when we were kids. It's " to die for "...
@saintveil I don't think we could make French bread. THat Reisings is sure some good bread! Someone told me the secret is the New Orleans water, I don't know. I just know I'll buy my French bread, lol. Thanks for watching.
I live 20min from New Orleans and at the store we are able to buy this stuff already chopped and mixed. Do they have it like this in Baton Rouge at the stores?
No problem!! All the dishes look wonderful. I'm in culinary school at Nicholls and am looking foward to leaning as many cajun dishes from my parents and from the net as I can!
I guess I'm gonna have to learn a lot more 'bout a whole lotta things. To my new understanding, it looks like the Holy Trinity goes into a lot of dishes.
I saved this recipe along with the red beans and rice. glad I watched. Thanks
Yes, the Cajun (holy) trinity goes in just about everything around here, except maybe cereal, lol. Goes in spaghetti sauce, stews, pot roasts, just about everything.
You are so right....fresh ingredients bring out the best flavor in gumbo, jambalaya, etc. It makes me hungry for it as I type this comment.......thank you again for making this video......
