The most absurd strathspey selection to come out of "Laggan Love" - which is not a quick march, so how weren't they disqualified for that? Anyway, musically it would have been fine had they chosen a s'spey that was modally consistent with the tenor of the air they march on to. Instead, they follow a melancholy, wicked, moody piece with a gay, airy-fairy strathspey which has NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO, thematically, with the march-on and spoils the mood established by the opener. Ridiculous.
@ChrisZ70 I have never hear such a lot of Winston Pollocks from one person in my life. (Sorry Winston -it's West Lothian Pipe Band Riming Slang). Me thinks you may be an under achieving over egotistic loser. Wake up and smell my drumsticks!
This is the best band never to win the world championship. They were well robbed in 91'. This band made me start learning the pipes. All England champs 91' houghton le spring, they were amazing!!!

Not even placed in the first 3. They was robbed. ;) I think they came 2nd in 91 tho. We had a good year then too. :)
