Haha my leo does this all the time, i have a fake background in her tank and her crickets sometimes get behind so i taped the gap closed but she h8s the tape and climbs right to the top of her viv and tries to scratch the tape away... it so funny! :)

@joreggy i would not recomend that at all its almost worst than using normal sand its teaching them to eat the sand when its normal sand it just has extra powder in it. If i was you i would check the belly of the gecko and if there is a black dot then give him a bath. the black dot means he is impacted. You should change him to reptile carpet/tile/news paper or any other substrait that is whole and not little pieces like sand/dirt/bark ASAP!

@joreggy ok i still dont recomend it but if it hasnt caused any problem yet then I guess its ok as long as you check every week. And also if you see the dot then give him a bath dont go to the vet tho they will only charge you a hundred bucks tell you the same thing im saying and give you a pointless cream. If he gets the dot expect to see him not eat and this can leed to death if you let it go to long. Im not giving you any false info I just want to make sure your leopard gecko stays healthy.
