Speaking from an Airman (enlisted AF), Navy promotes folks the quickest. I went in as E-3, after two and a half years, I was still a E-3 while this Sailor I knew went from E-1 to E-4 in that time frame.

@indoorin join the u.s naval sea cadet corps. I joined my local division about a month ago and after bootcamp in june im going to SWCC training. They also have EOD training. The instructors are active duty EOD's

@NCOProductions You dont wear NWUs in the desert dummy. Only recruits and sailors assigned to surface ships or port jobs get them. The Navy still uses DCUs and BDUs; most notably SEALs, SWCC, and Seabees.
