  • I'm pretty sure the Ryu is Vanao, same color and SA as Vanao. Kokujin is prolly Dudley. i have no idea who the Ken is though.

  • @Elitist111 That guy played nothing like Vanao.

  • @patrckhh20 I said i'm pretty sure. I could be wrong, it's just who I think it is.

  • This is a much better game than IV.

  • WOAH! 3:35 - 3:38... It goes THAT FAR?!

  • When Hugo's SA3 is activated, if you hold the punch button down he keeps running. Useful to juggle opponents falling away from you, run under and escape from crap like Alex's SA3 (if you don't want to jab it for whatever reason), and to mess with the opponent's head if you activate it accidentally.

  • Ryu= Vanao

    Dudley= Kokujin

    Ken= Matsuken

  • Those are Vanao,Fujiwara,Matsuken.

  • that wasn't fujiwara for sure...

  • it's exactly part of the atmosphere which makes rl play more exciting than online play. when it's all reduced to silence the whole thing is left cold and far more empty and it's far less exciting or enjoyable to be a part in. as someone who plays online tournaments regularly it's exactly a lack of atmosphere which is frustrating and tends to dull the event. like compare daigo's 'moment' with hayao vs umezono. i find hayao's more impressive yet the lack of shouting crowd makes it empty and cold

  • Vanao, Fujiwara, Keeper, vs YSB.

  • this ryu is vanao

  • 0:44 was mistake. He should let first hadouken hit him and keep charging denjin but he throwed it right away.

  • Could've sworn I heard "Bitch!" at 4:58 lmao.

  • why people don't shut up....that's bad for who's playing

  • shut the fuck up. do you hear kobe telling the crowd "shhh, im trying to free throw"

  • blabla mimimimi...

  • having crowd support is way cooler and more exciting than having silence. having a proper atmosphere is part of what makes all competitive sports exciting. do you see football players asking for silence in the stadium, or do they call for more noise? nuff said

  • The point is: What demands more focusing and fastest reactions, a football game with 22 players or a street fighter match with only two?

The answer is within the question; and if I were wrong there would'n be lots of players arguing with the crew and making "silence" signs to the crowd such as in EVO....

  • do you really think that whilst daigo was doing his bit to justin he would have preferred it if people watched in silence rather than make a fuss about the great shit they were seeing? also since when can't you concentrate if there is (in this case really not much anyway) some crowd noise? if you just pay attention you can block out what you don't want to hear as any good sportsman will tell you they do anyway.

  • You know Tennis and Golf you aren't supposed to make noise when the play is going on, so technically it is silent.

  • yeah and in soccer, football, rugby, most or all athletics etc. you don't have silence and it's not a bad thing. each sport has its own merits, so saying tennis and golf are silent doesn't help the discussion at all. the only thing which matters is if most players find it distracting to have a crowd atmosphere and a bit of support. i suspect only a small percentage would say they would always want silence- and if they do, they should learn to play with an atmosphere- it's a part of the game

  • The analogy to football, soccer or rugby isn't accurate. Those sports are more about adrenalin, strength, agility and power, all of which can be psychologically aided by noise and the crowd mentality. Video games are much more like playing poker, chess -- they're about strategy, clear thinking and precision dexterity, skills that are hindered by noise distractions.

Put it another way: Playing contact sports is like fighting a war; playing video games is like launching a missile.

  • i don't know if these are the players, but i know that kokujin uses a pink dudley; and along with matsuken, as suggested earlier, spellmaster j uses a blue ken

  • I have to admit, always hated Hugo, since he felt like a Gief gone sour.

... But this player... is AMAZING.

  • Hugo reminds me of Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

  • lmao very true

hes so dam creepy and psychotic looking

  • hurray for giant german man-child of doom!

  • damn YSB is one helluva player. He's able to be really agressive successfully with a slow, big character like Hugo, instead of being defensive like most would.

  • Matsuken uses a blue Ken

  • Hmm these guys are not THAT good, the Ryu, Ken and Dudley guy didn't really adapt to the Hugo player's style at all, just kept trying the same things. Not enough pokes. And DTown 70, I don't know if you know how ridiculous you sound claiming to be good at 3S by bragging about beating the AI...its like saying you're a millionaire because you found a buck on the street.

  • @ashtaal those guys are top players of their respective characters...and kokujin who is probably the best dudley in the world especially should've won because the dud-hugo matchup is 8-2 in duds favor...ysb is just ferocious

  • the ultra throw -> palm bomber -> backbreaker done in the MIDDLE OF THE STAGE WHAT THE FUCK

  • 1.28 @_@

  • are you serious? lol

  • Your watching 3rd Strike and not Mugen...

  • I never said I was good at 3rd Strike but to be able to do a 15+ combo in a game dosent make you good at the game. In this video Dudley player pulls of a 12 hitt combo. So by your logic he must be a good player. Ho fail now?

  • coute

"Seriously all they do is spam the same moves. They cant even perform a 3-11 hit combo."

If your oponent constanty get hitt by the same moves why stop? He pulled out a 14 hitt combo.

Im not good at 3d Strike and I bet you arent that good at it ither.

  • Yeah sorry, my bad. 12 hitt combo. Still, its the players skill and not character that wins the match. I bet that Hugo wuld beat you.

  • You consider yourself a pro cos you can beat 1 character easy against a hard computer? Then im also pro...

  • Next time they do the national 3rd:Strike championship in USA try enter it. And if you win that, and some more tournaments, I will consider you one of the best players in the world. Right now I yust see you like one of many amerikans thinking your the best cos you.. well.. are yust plain dumb.

  • Well, I guess you culd ask around at Shoryuken forum. I bet they have the answere there. It took me 2min's to google the site. Are you realy trying? Or do you yust like to talk big?

  • Meat Squasher is a very hard move to hit with and YSB nails it pretty consistently. Personally, I'd rather have Zangief's atomic suplex as his 360+K.

  • who's the blue Ken.Matsuken or may be The Spellmaster J

  • Wow, that was amazing Hugo work right there!

  • Very disappointed in Vanao. Retarded denjin setups.

  • those were actually good denjin setups except the first one but i know what he was aiming for. youre the retarded one. i bet you suck with denjin.

  • lol u have noooo clue. I prb play denjin way more than u. His second setup should've been done after dealing a little more damage to ensure the stun.

  • Comment removed

  • just because a denjin doesnt fully stun an opponent doesnt mean its not a good setup. it frightens your opponent when they see the stunbar almost full. that was a better setup than what you think.

and i seriously doubt you play denjin better than me since i consider myself having the best denjin ryu in america.

  • Tiers are for queers.

  • nah that cant be vanaos ryu

this ryus setups and vanaos are different

  • Pretty sure Ken got beasted HARDEST!!

    Loser.

  • Hell yeah he got raped.

  • @just6822 LMAO!!!

  • I will also say that is Vanao's Ryu.

  • my advice is keep your ass out the corner

  • did u guy realize that hugo is keep repeatin the same move~

    but he is damn good~

  • I love watching good Hugo

  • christ... that ken got ass raped. sorry to whoever played him, but that was a grade A ass wiping. stunning stuff.

  • e ryu is vanao i believe

  • I lost count of how many times he landed a Meat Squasher.

  • Hmm how come Hayao never uses any of these 360+k setups?

  • different styles I guess...

  • god, he beasted those 3 guys.

  • Dam that player is so highly skilled with Hugo!

  • Wow, ysb is mad skilled, I didn't know hugo could combo like that!

  • Vanao, Hong, Matsuken

  • hellz yea! lol

  • I have never seen a grade higher than A++ before.

  • I did, on some video a while ago, obviously forgot which it was. Its extremely rare between good players.

  • That isn't Fuji. It's nothing like the way he plays.

  • Any strength characters are hard to use against fast characters. This Hugo was played extremely well. Nice job on the many comebacks.

  • ..Any low tier character is hard to use against any high tier character. lol

Strength lies in tiers. Slow doesn't mean strength. ;o

  • he's actually pretty hard to use. if you want cheap, go to shin akuma from sfa2, double air fireball, 0.2sec recovery and invincible shoryuken, not to mention priorities and teleport - this hugo user has skill

  • wow you're retarded.

  • Not as much as you, really.

And Hugo is not cheap at all.

  • I was talking about Pigpen95333's comment, hop off, cockjockey.

  • Because if he did a CSB once, it wouldn't have been enough chip damage to kill him and he would've thrown or C.Short-->Super, Clap-->Super, etc...

  • was that fujiwara?

  • Good HUgo!!!

  • Spellmaster J plays a blue ken

  • I believe that Ryu is Vanao.

  • YSB is my hero... well... along with Hayao

  • If only we could see a match between those 2.

  • Has there ever been one or is there just not one on YouTube?

  • I never thought I'd see the day when Hugo would be rushing down anyone (much less a shoto).

  • YSB is a beast. great matches!

  • YSB's HUGO......

    Difficulty Level: ULTRA VIOLENCE

lol...amazing man, took all of them

  • YSB and Hayao are gods. Lol. I'd like to see them face off, but hey. I think Hayao would win... even though I'm a bigger YSB fan.. just because Hayao plays conservatively while YSB is really aggressive.

  • dudley player has to be kokujin.. fuji rarely plays with super #3

  • doubtful imo. Kokujin doesn't rush down hugo that I've seen, once he has a super he'll just stand back and mash HK.. if the hugo tries to jump in, command dash super. Could be Ichigo though.

  • fujiwara always uses corkscrew vs a hugo, I think its fujiwara although he didnt parry as much as fuji usually does.

  • Wow, that was amazing Hugo work right there!

  • Haha, kens can be played pretty well defensivly and offensively eh? I hate it. My friend whoops me with his ken game. Offense and Defense. But my hugo game is starting to get through to him... working on hugo more now, but its taking away my Urien skills a bit :P

  • I wish my roomate was that easy to beat... My roomate plays a devistatingly defensive Ken... >_> Very hard to get close or advance...

  • YSB is king!

  • He did use his denjin, and the reason he might not of at times, is because Hugo's super would go through it. These are some of the best jap players, they know what they're doin.

  • The Ryu is not smart at all, Runs away, when hugo is at low health, and did not use denjin, Ryu players are totally depended on their denjin super, sometimes*

  • *freakin* nasty. I'm going back to playing Hugo now lol

  • That Hugo was reakin nasty. And only one regular 360 grab in all 4 matches.
