I'm so sick of this JFK worship. Whitley complains that every administration since JFK has been all the same. The JFK administration was no different from the adminstrations before or after. What got him killed was that he had gotten too big for his britches. His popularity after the Cuban missile crisis made him a rock star and that was a liability because people like that tend to think they can start making their own decisions.

@rbilleaud - i don't know that the whole truth behind all that's ever been presented all together, the King Kill 33 is accurate, that's is how things get planned out and controlled, but also the TV was used to alter what would have been the plan, which was Nixon was meant to get in in 1960, but he didn't fare well on the new style soundbites and TV debates; it seems related to nuclear incidents - make the world think they're all about to die for about 13 days, then kill him for it.
