Actually curves do help you with certain things, just like the shit hole nalsund curve is better for snap and wrist. And I hate the 40.

for heel curves there is no difference for slap shots its just a preferance like alot of people hate heel curves like me....but its not the curve that makes the slap shot but people have opinions though..any way the naslund curve is awesome mbut for nike bauer u should get the 40 with the staal curve...can u make a video of ur game day routine if u have one ?
