I think you have to have suffered so much to have these words ring true to you. These words bring me to tears every time I hear or read them. And yet, there is still splendor, not only in the meadow but in the beauty of living things, and there remains glory not only in the heavens, but in the untarnished faces of children. This poem is very beautiful.
