hay que ver esto, la musica es una sola , quien sino sabe diferenciaria entre las interpretaciones de beethoven, pantera , stairway to heaven, kiss no es sino las notas musicales? solo es cuestion de que al colocarlas de forma y posicion diferente, tenemos algo diferente del mismo origen, asi que lo ideal es que tomemos la musica como una sola cosa que se modifica y tiene el mismo origen, lel problema es , que variante de modificacion escojas, recuerda todo viene del mismo lugar...

You know that Perttu and Paavo are/ playing in the Finnish Philharmony? Paavo also is/ was teacher at Sibelius Academy in Helsinki which is known as the best music academy in Finnland. So hell yeah, they are masters on the cello but I hate they play e-cellos. If everything had stayed acustic on the albums I'd love that. But those horrble things sounding like e-guitars have no feeling in it, no heart. Sadly...

Yeah, Apocalyptica played those electrical cellos on The Rasmus album "Hide from the sun" and The Rasmus themselves said, that is was hard to record, because the cellos sounded like guitars and weren't hearable enough. If you listen to the album you can hear what they mean - strangely there are no cellos to hear^^ So I prefer listening to acustical cellos, they have a deepness inside and they touch me in my soul.

@vampyresBaby That's some pretty good explanation o.o I get your point ^^ I don't know yet what I like to hear the most, e-cello's or acoustic ones. I think I'll stick around with the acoustic, since I listen to e-guitars like all the day already XD

Well, if you listen to only one e-cello (no other instruments) it may sound good, depents on how it is played. But with other instruments in orchestra or something, you won't hear anything sadly.

So I think Apocal's Beethoven-part would sound better with acustical cellos. Thats what the symphony is written for. ;-)

And you're right, everyone uses e-guitars and you sometimes need to get rid of it. Therefore I like pagan folk bands like Omnia :-)

Yeah, I guess they haven't composed the symphony for something electric, haha xD They should try playing that live with acoustic cello's, but I don't know if that would play well o.ô

I've heard of Omnia, even though I don't listen to them much :') (Korpiklaani, Van Canto, Gogol Bordello.. not always with e-instruments for an example)
