I worked as a bartender for over 10 years and I tell you alcohol is a heavy (but legal) drug. I've seen drunk people do the craziest things. I don't smoke weed but in my experience the average pothead is way more relaxed and less bound to be agressive than an average drinker on a saturday night. Over here in Holland you can buy and smoke pot freely and our society didn't crash and burn. In Switserland you can legally buy and smoke pot, that country is doing fine too.

@devonboyEXE Heroin causes a physical addiction; people are literally in agony when in withdrawal, the most unbearable pain... that's why clinics have to literally force them to go cold turkey: I'm not sure if that amounts to tying them to a bed, but it might as well. People don't use krokodil because they like what the drug does or how it feels, but simply because they're too poor to afford actual heroin and can't bear the withdrawal; krokodil stems that off for a while.

I worked as a bartender for over 10 years and I tell you alcohol is a heavy (but legal) drug. I've seen drunk people do the craziest things. I don't smoke weed but in my experience the average pothead is way more relaxed and less bound to be agressive than an average drinker on a saturday night. Over here in Holland you can buy and smoke pot freely and our society didn't crash and burn. In Switserland you can legally buy and smoke pot, that country is doing fine too.

I've never gone to college because my job gives me enough money to afford a nice apartment, the things I need, pays my bills, and leaves me with enough money to have fun. keeping cannabis illegal actually creates hard drug addicts; a person smokes weed and finds it harmless so figure maybe the same propoganda and lies apply to heroin etc that the dealers being criminals also sell, they try it and get hooked; in holland a 90% reduction in new hard drug addicts was noted in 1st year of decriminalisation and they found less people smoked weed aswell.
most of the harm of drugs come from prohibition, heroin prescription would save these people.

Infacts banning marijuana which is definetly a gateway drug helps get rid of some of the marijuana addicts we have in rehab. Besides people that smoke meth for the first time probably started smoking marijuana before they started doing harder drugs, and people that only did amphetamines or cocaine etc and no marijuana were likely to be doing on their own free will.
