we will show respect for all the good men that gave ther life for ther flag and i mean german, british, american, japan, italian, russian axis and allis all dide for the flags.
I love how he laughs about dead people and boats getting blown up. Send this old guy to afganistan and he can shoot ragheads with the best of them laughing the whole time
@eddymandiedie maybe he is laughing at how stupid it is... see people dying so ridiculously like flying off boats getting shot by german torpedoes....
@eddymandiedie You havent experienced war, you cant even understand why it seems so "normal" to him. Because in our society we never see dead people, we never get opposed to real threats. You think it sounds sick well guess what real nature can be sick, especially human nature
For me this is verry important to remember those soldiers that fought and gave their lives so that the people of europe and especially my country could live in freedom without the tirrany of the Nazi occupation.
As a fellow soldier i honor these men.
And i honor fighting alongside us troops in afghanistan today.
Hey these are great, stonelywave. Would it be ok for me to download and re-edit them? I wouldn't change any dialogue, just maybe try to touch up the video a bit. Of course I will credit you as the source.
@stonleywave greath vid,i have to make vid like this for school but i dont have any heart tuching music like on the start on your vid please tell me what its called?:)
@URO006 The intro is Michael Kamen - Preparing for Patrol. You can also try other WWII soundtracks and, oddly enough, the soundtrack for the series LOST works as well.
can you ask bill if he knew any one named Willy Gregory he was a engineer in the army on D Day if you find out please send me a mesage and on the video u said engineers bulit briges and my uncal bulit briges thanks
i dont really like all of the reading material. i would rather just listen to the vet tell his story in full, but thats just me. its very good what u r doing and i look forward to more videos
We interviewed Bill in 2003 at a reunion in Pampa, TX. We are still very actively interviewing WWII vets and have conducted well over 100 interviews, to date. Our most recent set of interviews were conducted in Washington D.C. where we were invited to the USS New Orleans reunion. Interviews from that group will appear on Youtube very soon.
I wanna shake that guys hand and tell him thank you...
