Not called the shadow shuffle... if you search it there's a (japanese? chinese? I don't remember...) guy teaching it...
Good tutorial! I got annoyed with this one because with anything less than a near-new the cards stick and pushing them through is harder... I find I can get more life out of my deck if I use a zarrow...
If anybody is wondering, cuts 2, 3, and 4 are NOT a part of the shuffle, and can be replaced with any preferred false cut OR another false shuffle... it's just a convincer.
It's called the strip out. I've seen Richard Turner call it pull out. I've never heard "Shadow". Push through, is when you push the two halves, around and trough each other. Just one tip. When you strip the cards out, do it faster, lower, and strip the cards back, not forward. Good job though.
Sorry but that was reeeeally easy to figure out... I know it's just a tutorial but I don't think people understand the full magnetude of the trick until they see it performed smoothly.
nice false but the zarrow is better as you don't have to cut after to clean up.. its as near to a real riffle as it can get.. did enjoy film though and would love to see more.. thanks
Pretty good vid, explained very well, but I saw your other trick where u used that shuffle, and it was not smooth or fast enough. That's just constructive critisism

One tip that makes it seem less suspicious is push the cards through towards your body that way it's shielded by the bacs of your hands.

great tutorial! This false shuffle is called the Zarrow Shuffle, if I'm not mistaken.
DeathRazorSk8ing 2 years ago
The Zarrow is a different false riffle shuffle, where you have to separate the weave.
experthowto 2 years ago
Wait..No this is the blind riffle shuffle, i think.
