  • great

  • Sounds Great. Forget those fagot sax players that get scared when tech catches up to them. One thing I know, Sax players blow and you do not! remember all the little bitch drummers that cried when drum machines came out? Same thing.

  • dude, no need to be a dick to other musicians,

each instrument has its own feel, and can never be perfectly replicated by a machine,

after all, the skill truly lies in the musician, and not some synth, drum machine, multiinstrument keyboard or any other junk.

Remember, soul before gear or tech.

  • Dude. Why don't you just not worry about it. Bohs1984 stated that his comment was a smart ass comment and it deserved a smart ass rebuttle. Do you think for one minute that a non musician cares wether a sax sound comes from a guitar or a real sax. I have a gr-20 and when I play piano or sax with my guitar, peoples jaws drop. I guess that "bohs1984" thinks that non musican can tell the difference between a scale on a sax and a scale on a guitar... They can't! It either sounds good or it doesn't.

  • wow, your fucking pussy. there are things that a sax can do that make this thing look like shit. it wasnt a bad piece, but in honesty, it didnt have the feel of a sax. same thing with drums retard, it doesnt have the sound variation. oh and just so you know, maybe your right, maybe regular people don't know the difference, but i, as a musician and a person, take it upon myself not to hang out with 'regular people' because they are ignorant little fucks like you

  • Deal with it my brass blowing buddy, sampling is taking over. I could record you playing each note of your insturment and tweek it to come up with a professional recording. And although I agree that a professional sax player would know the difference, the non musician would not. As far as not hanging out with regular people, I really don't care if you do or not. I think it would be better if you didn't, just sit in the basement and play for your non-regular friends and pretend that it matters.

  • a.) i play the drums, and the piano

b.) the only type of system to ever accurately get down the variations of an instrument has been the keytar, thats why it was famous, because it was exactly like a guitar

c.)you really don't play actual intruments do you? thats exactly why you don't get the feel. if you did you would know

d.) sampling on electronic drumsets sucks balls

e.) sampling in general also sucks. if you can tell the difference between microsoft sam and a real person u can tell the d.

  • Glad to here that you are the center of the universe because play the drums and the piano. I believe that the current state of affairs in music proves you wrong. You seem to forget the billion dollar rap and hip hop industry. You are a dinosaur and will be rendered obselete if you do not accept the changes in the music industry. As stated before, play for your friends in your basement to your hearts content.

  • oh yes, because people listen to rap in hiphop of course for its musical expression through instruments.... right....

  • Regardlees of the fact that some rap and hip hop music use samples, these are still musical forms of expression. There is no way I am going to give more credit to a engineer putting together samples than to a musician that has taken the time to learn their insturment. But there is creativity in both. For the record. I do play guitar and know that I have a GR-20, I also play 399 other musical sounds. Including Sax!

  • @fancypants6434 shuuuut up

  • Its rated low because you have the synth set to the sux, not sax setting. Sax lines are not guitar lines and sound lame if played like that. Sorry, but ask a dumb question you will get an honest smart ass answer.

  • nice slideshow

  • what would happen if u bend a note?

  • I just love how synth saxes just never sound like actually saxes. You just can't get the same articulation with a guitar or keyboard.

  • It's the same for most sounds, exept piano sounds get pretty close.

  • seriously..why the fuck is this rated as low..it should be like 5 stars..this kiks ass!

  • dude you gotta write this out for horns this sounds soooo good with horns rather than jsut the guitar, sounds just like something roland kirk would write

  • This is tight! How come your vids are rated so low D:

I picked up a Behringer Metalien, looks just like yours ^-^

  • Hey thanks.

Yeah I have no idea on the ratings, I have a theory though. Something about it being so much easier to tear something down than to build it up. Thanks for the comment/rating, and yeah I dig my metalien, it has a nice fast neck and a real smooth feel. Take care.

  • I dunno why anyone else would rate it low, but I did because I didnt think it was a good piece to play using a sax synth. It just didnt sound "saxy" I guess :| do a baker street cover though! I'd love to hear that :D

  • @einsteinian

    i dig it too.

some people feel the need to look down on guitar synth, but then they are fine with piano style synths which makes no sense. Its all just how you make awesome sounds. Thumbs up man!

  • thank you

  • i cant connect it i meen

  • I had the roland gr-20 guitar synth and a roland gk-3a synth pickup attached to the guitar. This particular guitar doesnt have midi but all the newer models do. I hope this helps.

  • shit i can connect it like midi how you did this
