Foot prints look fake to me ! There are no kick marks from the ball of the foot. When you walk forward and upright you step heel to toe. In order for me to leave a flat print like that I would have to lift my knee to waist height and step forward without digging in with the ball of my foot. It seems impossible to make a long stride when leaving flat prints.
Its interesting how the sasquatches moved through the area, then the human(s) moved through the area. It's kind of surreal. And most people don't believe in sasquatch and would be unaware of their presence either at the location previously or watching them from a distance. This video kind of symbolizes this, how they are living under our noses. In this case, however, the human is an exception to the rule (he believes in sasquatch).
This reminds me of the work done by Jamie Avalos, a tracker and personal friend of Dr. Meldrum.Jaime has been tracking the same group of barefoot prints on both sides of the Sierras and as far as 400 miles apart for the past four years. He can prove with castings, the young members of the group are growing. Why would a group of humans be walking barefoot all over the Sierras during all four seasons ?
In my opinion Meldrum and Bindernagel have been taking research down the wrong path for too many years, these tracks in no way are ape tracks, no way !!
Thats what I took from Dr. Bindernagels new book was squared off toes would be a way of identifing a print as possible sqautch rather then human which the toes are almost always slanted at an angle down from the big toe.
@cprahl007 look at the flatness of the foot, complete absence of arch. Also the midtarasal break is not evident which say we do not know as much about foot morphology as we think we do. As well there are 2 distinct types here, squared off in all respects, and the classic rounded type used as the BFRO logo. These tracks have a lot to tell us about how the bf foot changes with size and age
@cprahl007 In fact the individual that laid down the trackway in the opening sequence has 2 distinctly different feet. His right doesnt match his left …. damm I wish I spent more time shooting this scenario now
he's a BF tracker / researcher? No tape measure, I would put my barefoot next to it for comparison. The sand looks soft, seems to me the footprint would be deeper in the sand. need more intel/details for any kind for confirmation.
@Derekfoot1 From the shots around 45sec and again at 1:43 it looks like the tracks may be one in front of the other rather than offset. That would be a classic sign. Do you have more footage showing this?
@trailriderresearch Here is a good link to a 10min education on BF tracks by Dr. Jeff Meldrum. He's by far the field leader on the subject as I'm sure your aware. After watching it and looking at the large square flatter track in your clip it seems to fit allot of the characteristics from the Dr.Meldrum video.
@dchaps these are the best clips - there may have also been human activity, but truth is the sandbar was predominately tracked out by BF - Very hard to get to this spot barefoot if you are human
Strange. At 1:05 it clearly shows human tracks in the wet sand with visible arches, but some of the others do look very squatchy. Was one of you guys walking around bare foot? Good video!
@Derekfoot1 I agree Derek. The squared heel and the toes straight across are indicative of no shoes and non-human. Those toes with the angled tight toes (wearing shoes) and narrow heal look human to me. Just my opinion but who knows for sure.
Those are some very impressive prints.........I know some people don't like the music you add to your videos.......I love it & this song is really cool!
LOL-That's Rambo's footprints. The movie First Blood was filmed in Golden Ears, BC.

You can clearly see that the bigfoot puts more weight on in heel when he walks

And yes, the more square ones do look very Bigfoot like. As a matter of fact they look great. Were you able to track them back into the forest?
Derekfoot1 1 year ago
@Derekfoot1 no because the sandbar is surrounded by a gravel bar

What is the probability (in mathematical terms) of humans walking around that area barefoot at the time you filmed this?
earlygates 1 year ago
@earlygates you are kidding me right ? look closely - these are classic squatch tracks. Of course the probability is not 0 but less than 5%
