Hi Gareth! Love the song, great cover! I didn't even realise it was from a different channel until I read your comments! Subbed, by the way. =) Most of my band/ tribute videos have 'matched third party content', but it's okay because whoever owns the copyright is allowing it to play. A while back, I uploaded a vid with a GN'R song & it was blocked automatically! It all depends who owns the copyright. If you check you're account, youtube tells you if it is considered to be in "good standing".

I am not familiar with Soul Asylum barre your covers. I really like this song as well as Runaway Train. The lyrics are very creative. I have to start listening to this band. It's a shame about the second channel, That your 3500 subs might not see this great cover :).

@mossyx360 Hi Tomas,thanks man. Yes Soul Asylum are worth getting in to. Im getting increasingly frustrated with YouTube. This is the 2nd time on the space of a few days that ive uploaded a cover only to find that it matches 3rd party content and may be a risk to the channel. They give you three strikes , the delete your channel and theres nothing you can do. Anything that i upload that gets the 3rd party message, i instantly delete and upload to this channel to be safe.

@77rhodes It is alot better to be safe then sorry, All your hard work gone. Maybe just link this channel in the description of axl77 videos to get the attention of others. Plus the copyright is really unfair. I don't see how your breaking any codes. Just YouTube and their Iron Fist.

@mossyx360 I know man,it really sucks big time. Im not breaking any copyright, if anything im promoting the original band and introducing them to a whole load of people (like yourself) who hasnt heard that much of their stuff. Its a shame,but im seeing it more every day, YouTube is becoming less about what it was originally intended to be and all about getting the major companies in with thier on demand services.
