in real life the AA shotgun can shoot about 300 yards and still go thru metall :P and you can load it up with grenades instead of normal shells and just think about it... that wil be like a fully automatic thumper... :P

In MW1 the range was unrealistic because it usually takes 2 shots but they've improved it in MW2 BUT if they are going to make them this powerful make them a primary because they are too good to be a secondary! :P But in an assualt rifle/sub-machine gun fight you don't want some guy running into the middle of it with a shotgun and raping everyone! Thats why people get annoyed! Personally I use the SPAS-12 ALL THE TIME and well... ITS AMAZING!!!!
