How do you sew the top color to the bottom color and keep it looking seamless? I can't figure it out and no one explains it in tutorials...

when sewing fur you have to make shere all the fur fabers are tucked in and not being sewed down in between the two pieces. also when you cut your fur use an exato knife to cut the back and not sisors or your going to trim that fur and make odd looks when the fur lays back down.

It's a good size to avoid sagging too. Anymore then that and you may need to add a wire for support and structural integrity. At least I'd assume so ^_^;; Great tutorial, never thought to approach husky tails from this angel. I've just been sowing in darts to create the shape.

If you made it larger and stuffed it stiffly, it wont need any wires.

question how much would a tail be from you? Does it depend on size of the tail? I'm a rather short person, 4'11'' so I'm wondering how much a wolf tail would cost if you made one =) The tail would either be all one color or two colors.

I'll ask my mom if I can one day buy from you for a tail so simple XD i tried making my own tail, but I ended up making it to short and it looks like a bloody cat tail XD And I was aiming for a wolf. I guess for me I need to see an actual fursuit tail so I can basically study it up close and what not lol. I'll have to see what my mom says after I ask her =)
