As a point of advice, the anti-vibration pads for the hard drive trays may cause the drives to overheat as they block any ambient air from getting to the main boards of the drives. This is a huge problem for faster drives that create more heat. It has been known to cause premature failures in many cases.
Overally it's very good case, although if I were to buy a new case I would pick LIAN LI PC-8FIB which is newer version of this case with USB 3.0 ports, 2 intake fans, more slots for your HDDs and with far more better room for cable management. And it costs almost the same.
As for the cons - as you can see the interior is not in black color which is bit of a downside specially if you got verison with side window. Another downside is lack of USB 3.0 port at the fornt panel but on the other hand this case has been longer on market than USB 3.0.
The major downside is cable management. At the best circumstances we can speak of it as "limited". It does offer only one(!) hole in MB tray and I found it very difficult to lead some cable behind the MB tray.
I got this case without the side window and I gotta say it an excellent case. There were some pros and cons that OP didn't mention thou. First of all this case fits all CPU coolers you can think of. Even Noctua NH-D14 ain't an issue. Secondly hard-drive bay is removable although I would't suggest it as it helps to keep the whole construction even more solid (thus you will end up with less vibrations). Besides hard-drive cages are brilliant (remove the unnecessary ones for better airflow).
Question: would this case fit a Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3-B3 board with a GTX560 Ti Twin Frozr II, 2x4gb Corsair Vengeance memory (with heatsinks) and an i5 2500k cooled by a Scythe Mugen 2 Rev. B? And would the parts get in each-others way on that motherboard?
@Rapagangsta all these people with their thousands of high rpm fans make me sick... i have a phenom 2x4, a gtx 460, hdd, gigabyte ga 770 ta ud3 and only 2 (in letters: two) case fans with very low rpm (front one is running with 500, the other all the time with 800) and my core temps in idle are about 35°C and under load (prime95 - 2 hours) 58° (my cpu cooler is an EKL Großclockner - 40€ when i bought it)
Its great that it has so many anti-vibration elements, but it doesn't seem like it would offer enough airflow. 140mm front mount intake fan and 120 rear exhaust fan? They should have at least given you the option to install a side and top fan.
@1465225568 u realy dont need more than 2 fans until u run a gtx 470, 480, 580 , hd 5970, 6990 or something like that... lian li is all about simplicity and not airflow... if u need airflow buy a HAF X ...
@sokrutu I suppose this setup would offer enough airflow for some systems, but I'm currently running 2x Sapphire 6850 toxic in crossfire as well as an overclocked i7-950.

@lillen300 Well most PC users and even gamers use air to cool there cases. Even me. But people with money or true hardcore gamers or some people who want to break a record go water cooling. To me noise is not a big issue because I don't think anything in the case makes vibrations other than the fans and you can always remove those and I use headphones so I can't hear anything.
I really like Lian Li cases my only criticism of this case and recent Lian Li cases is the side panel which aren't all that easy to remove and put back, I noticed you had the same problem when you tried to remove the side panel that it got stuck on it's hinge. I hope Lian Li have addressed this issue on it's next range of cases.

Yes, it will play Crysis, on high settings. Buy it now.. while the price is good. Just make sure you buy the $2000.00 worth of components to go inside of it also.

No, there really isn't. Aluminum, filters, anti-vibration features, noise-reducing features, etc. Of course you could think some LED filled noisy beast is a 'better' case, but when it comes to quality, Lian Li is it.

That video card looks pretty flexed. :( But I've had mine do that as well. Why?
GreeneMan510 2 years ago
It' s pretty simple to explain.
Also if not a canalized air flow, it takes intake from front side and exaust from the upper because the upper part got hotter.
It give an internal circulation to transport lower air to the upper side.
If you put fans on the same level, gives no ventilation to the other parts of case.
Dante1969 2 years ago

I'm defiantly going to get this case for my rig! It's beautiful! It was given a 9.5/10 score on another site!

therse a hundred beter cases 4 this kinda money!
SpikeyBoiCahir 2 years ago
No, there really isn't. Aluminum, filters, anti-vibration features, noise-reducing features, etc. Of course you could think some LED filled noisy beast is a 'better' case, but when it comes to quality, Lian Li is it.

This case is incredible for the price!

Wow thanks for the review. I can see this case is full of great quality. This has really changed my decision on which case to get. Thanks again.

I've been having some terrible heat issues, i know it's the slim case design. Do you have a old case, or one you don't use that you can sell to me?
