There should be a starting point to evolve from at least, even if it were a single living cell. So that means someone must have triggered something to form life. In the same way someone should have triggered the big bang to form the universe. As the Occam's razor says that the simplest solution is usually the correct one.

Their arguments are usually arguments that christians tried in the past, then gave up on. For example, they bring up Darwin, when Darwin is just the beginning of our understanding of evolution. The strongest evidence was learned after Darwin's death.

I think that all the schools of Islam make it pretty clear that a male apostate should be killed, unless he converted under duress or he has mental disorder. In no defense to Christianity, of course, which says that parents should stone unruly children to death.
Clearly Abrahamic religions seem to have this problem, but it's even worse: some people actually want to enforce such "laws" in a 1st world country.

@noonamr Yes, I disbelieve in all "Gods". My opposition to the various religions tends to vary in intensity according to the way Atheists are treated by the religion in question. Islamic law, "the law of Allah", calls fore the extermination of Apostates and Atheists, so I consider the Muslim God "Allah" to be worse than the other "Gods", the followers of whom do not kill us. By "unbeliever" I mean "unbeliever", what did you think I meant? Obviously someone who does not believe in "Allah".

That's how he would know that the prints came from a camel and not a goat. He was relying on "observation". So how many times had he seen "Allah" creating mountains? Which observations would lead him to think that mountains were "indicative" of this "Allah" and not of one or more of the thousands of other "Gods" or of a "God" at all?

@l337pwnage Even if evolution were to be true (highly unlikely) does not mean that god does not exist. May be god designed it so that it would evolve. There should be a starting point to evolve from at least, even if it were a single living cell. So that means someone must have triggered something to form life. In the same way someone should have triggered the big bang to form the universe. As the Occam's razor says that the simplest solution is usually the correct one.

Also, at least you also understand that evolution does not negate god, it just greatly reduces his credibility.

@bluexex I grew up most of my life in the jesus cult, so I know what belief is like. If I have any particular disdain for islam, it is because of its arrogance. Their arguments are usually arguments that christians tried in the past, then gave up on. For example, they bring up Darwin, when Darwin is just the beginning of our understanding of evolution. The strongest evidence was learned after Darwin's death.
