  • I've been looking for this song forever.

  • It's very similar to that of Harry Potter

  • i live in charleston, sc. . I live in a large suburban area called Dunes West. It is surrounded by all of the wilderness described by Ben Martin aka Francis Marion. Bogs, swamps, desolate meadows, etc. In fact, not much further north is Francis Marion National Forest, itself. Every day i pass all this wilderness on the highway, i can hear this music playing. It's the eerie fact to know all of the DNA of fallen Redcoats and Patriots that is laid out all over. It strengthens the Halloween season.

  • @tj526 i love how you set the mood...you need to write for movies/flim

  • i think hans is talented, but to mention him in the same sentence as a god like williams should be considered goddamn treasonous

  • @dmiraie1 Williams is the best but you have to admit a lot of his stuff is a bit repetitive. He loves that french horn. Point is, even he's not perfect. Hans is great too.

  • Best song from the patriot hands down.

  • To me Hans Zimmer composes run-of-the-mill music.

  • Not a huge fan of Williams overall, but he does indeed come up with some amazing individual cues (such as this one).

This is the only track from the film I like, though. The theme for this film was absolutely atrocious.

  • Love this movie...especially when he loses his temper when he amazingly chops up the british soldier with his tomahawk....

  • EVERY time I watch a movie whose music is awesome and matches every scene spectacularly and precisely, it turns out to be by John Williams! HE IS AWESOME!!

  • "I have longed feared my sins would come back to haunt me."

  • The beginning of this track sounds a lot like the cue in Jaws when Quint is telling the Indianapolis story, especially with the strings. This is up until 1:14 when the action music kicks in.

  • my favorite track from this film..... very haunting.

  • I don't know why but the beginning of this music stuck with me the most, even more than the main theme. It's hauntingly tragic and unsettling...

  • not on itunes :S

  • to me, from 2:20 -3:10 sounds a lot like "The Immolation Scene" track from the last Star Wars.

  • @queggy1 Dude, Gladiator? Batman? Pirates? Modern Warfare 2? The Ring? Hanz Zimmer is amazing.

  • To me, Hans Zimmer composes run-of-the-mill music. My favorite Zimmer soundtrack is "The Thin Red Line". I am a big fan of John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith - the old school composers. They learned composition and orchestration from the very best and one can hear the difference.

  • 3.15..and on bomb

  • love it

  • 3:15 Llevaba buscando esta parte desde que la escuché al principio de la película, parece mentira como 6 notas dan para tanto!!

  • john williams is in a class of his own when comes to music, never fails in producing amazing scores again and again!!!

  • Yeah. Williams is amazing. Hans Zimmer too.

  • @MilanKorr91 Sometimes Zimmer sounds too much the same. You can always tell in a movie if Zimmer did the score. His movies just sound too similar. Clint Mansell is another one that has amazing scores.

  • @bkldc08 well a lot of the major composers, like zimmer, williams, gregson williams, horner, doyle, you can usually tell that they composed it. they all have their own sounds and tendancies.

  • 2:10 on is the best part..

  • so haunting... just heard this on the radio and had to go find it.... beautiful~

  • thank you soooo much the horns in this are sooo good.
