I liked the song as is; then this just made the song even more intriguing to me. One thing I enjoy is the simple fact that the faces and imagery of the video give whole new meaning to the parts in the song, and changes the overall mood.. at least to me.

@CrusaderOfTheMojave Yeah, y'know, you come up with the idea to dance in the sidewalk, but then you actually have to do it. And that gets weird. I also shot a part on a really crowded public bus. Y'know, for art? But I didn't wind up using it. The best part of all the public humiliation is that in all of these shots I was walking around with blue tape all over my face because I had never motion-tracked before and I thought I'd need it. Didn't.

OK, the video that won totally deserved it. It was hilarious and fit the theme of the song. BUT, this is much better than the runner up video. I really like the way you can get so much expression out of a smiley face.

I do feel like this is too much of an inside joke. I see you have other videos with these characters but I don't know what their backstory is, or what the "Drowned" cup means, ect. So that probably hurt you. Technically speaking, it's brilliant though, and superior to the winner.
