Hate it. The third one has a bunch of stuff that didn't happen. Gohan ran away from the dinosaur...  not goten and trunks... plus the redrawn stuff just doesn't look as cool, everyone has a fatty face. So sick of "kai".

@ChristopherJacques Of course things have to change since Gohan is an adult so it would be weird if he did the same things. The opening of the 2008 OVA is a remake of the first one but everyone is like in the Majinbuu saga so some characters must replace others.

@ChristopherJacques Well, this OVA is a movie that takes place 2 years after the Majinbuu saga. They are building a hotel to celebrate the victory over Majinbuu (I don't know how since they wished everyone to forget about it so the fat buu can live pacefully on earth). Then Vegeta's younger brother (yes, he had one) arrives asking for help to beat some enemies that attacked his planet. Everyone appears as in the buu saga in that opening that's why the change.

@YamiTetsuya Thanks for the info! I had no idea a new movie had come out. The last one I bought was like 12 years ago and on LASERDISC! Really happy to hear about it and watch it. I don't even mind the changes in the beginning now as much, but still think they should've done new things rather than replaced old characters with new ones in the old situations.

Anyway, watching it now, Kamesennin's voice is different though... he had one of the best voices ever! Still great to watch!

DBO story was mostly made by Akira Toriyama.dont make me say it a hundred times,

@TheMostBleedingHeart GT was thought up by him, the initial characters, the plot of Goku being a little kid, Trunks with the weird ascot, Goku's granddaughter pan. Even when he stopped and they ended up doing the anime, he consulted on some character designs.

As for DBO, his studio MAY be involved, not him. Another artist and writer has been doing DB side stories in various game magazines for years. If Bird Studio is involved, it's not Toriyama. Either way, a non-linear game is not a sequel.
