@Crazy4skulls1 It's considered a protective style. You still do your regular hair regimen, but it's to eliminate having to use heat on your hair everyday.
i hope you stopped using as much heat since this video. i don't think you needed to hot curl it before wrapping or flat iron it to stuff it under a wig.

But, why should she want a wig? She has nice hair! What could be better than your own natural hair. Wigs look so phoney and fake. It makes me sad to see black woman parading around in wigs. I dont think you need to, it just depends on your hair type, if you got good hair or hair thats just been relaxed it will wrap easily, without the need to straighten it first.

She really doesn't, but I'm the same way. I don't wear wigs, but I do weaves all the time. I have good length on my hair, but its nice to be able to change it up. Weaves and wigs are fun.
It looks so pretty and healthy without the weave, but I understand wantign to be versitile and being able to change up your looks! Women have been doing it for centuries. At one point in history, being able to do this was a status symbol. Being able to switch it up is truly a skill!!

Why is everybody asking her why she wears wigs? She wears wigs because she wants to, duh!. LOL. Anyway, just because a person wears fake hair (a weave, wig, braids, whatever...) doesn't mean they're ashamed or self conscious of their hair. Wearing wigs is one of the many protective styles worn to protect our real hair from extra breakage from harsh wind and even daily styling....I have long thick hair myself, and sometimes I wear a wig for the reasons above. Who care what others think.

She really doesn't, but I'm the same way. I don't wear wigs, but I do weaves all the time. I have good length on my hair, but its nice to be able to change it up. Weaves and wigs are fun.

It looks so pretty and healthy without the weave, but I understand wantign to be versitile and being able to change up your looks! Women have been doing it for centuries. At one point in history, being able to do this was a status symbol. Being able to switch it up is truly a skill!!

Why is everybody asking her why she wears wigs? She wears wigs because she wants to, duh!. LOL. Anyway, just because a person wears fake hair (a weave, wig, braids, whatever...) doesn't mean they're ashamed or self conscious of their hair. Wearing wigs is one of the many protective styles worn to protect our real hair from extra breakage from harsh wind and even daily styling....I have long thick hair myself, and sometimes I wear a wig for the reasons above. Who care what others think.

What I love about these videos is that your hair is beautiful and you're using the wigs and hair pieces as accessories. I used to think that this was only for women whose hair couldn't grow until someone bought me a bun to wear to get ready faster, now I'm addicted. This is fun, fast, and I didn't know you could do all of this...Thank You! Like I didn't know about the wrap.
